This has very easily become one of my favorite Marriott properties when I come to St. Louis. It's conviently located in the middle of downtown, it is reasonably priced, and the staff is warm, friendly, and so helpful; from the valet, to the front desk, to housekeeping. I had such a great stay and I'm looking forward to my next one.Walkability: It's in the middle of downtown.

Some staff members stood out for their friendly demeanor and helpfulness, while others seemed to be merely occupying space. It's disheartening to see a contrast between those who genuinely care about their job and those who don't. The rooms are decent, equipped with a full kitchen, and the gym is minimalist at best. A bar is available downstairs in the lobby that gets interesting, and the location in the heart of downtown is convenient, being a short walk from the convention center and neighborhood market, as well as various restaurants. Despite encountering a mix of experiences, my first visit to St. Louis was enjoyable, and I appreciated the city and its people.

Beautiful hotel with a great history. If the walls could talk, they would. You can just feel the strong presence of this hotel. Built somewhere around 1929.Staff was very friendly and helpful. Always attentive and kind. The food was really good. I ate breakfast here every morning for my 5 day stay. It was that good that I kept coming back. Also Starbucks right there so it’s nice to have your drinks available.Only strange thing I’ll say about my stay at this hotel is the energy. Every night around 3AM I would wake up wide awake. The place definitely felt like it was a bit haunted. I never saw anything, but my coworkers would say they saw shadows move out of the corner of their eye. Also I know they have had paranormal professionals come in to confirm the ghost presence… they won’t harm you! But I definitely felt ghost presence at this hotel! That being said, I would stay again.

The staff was wonderful; friendly, accommodating, I have several allergies and they made sure I was fed every morning before my family and I headed out on our adventures.

We organized a room block here for our wedding guests and we heard lots of comments that it was a nice hotel. Rachel and Kenya were great to work with to set up the courtesy room block. The hotel is walking distance to tourist attractions (City Museum, Arch, Ballpark Village).

The only complaint I have is we had dinner in the dining room. The service very slow I had to ask four times For bread Then the waiter sit. Are bread at an empty table behind us.I had to ask 4 × 4 something to drink. And their excuse was that they were filling orders for room service. This is unexcusable and unacceptable and I hope. That the CEO of Marriott reads these things because this needs attention.

The staff here is so wonderful. I was sort of a mess on this trip and kept leaving stuff all over. Twice they returned my belongings directly to me with a smile. Everyone was so friendly and the hotel is very clean and comfortable. What more could you ask for?

Probably a top five hotel experience for me. Staff, location and rooms were perfect. Easily most comfortable bed I’ve slept in at a hotel.Rooms: Very roomy. Loved the layout. Bed was incredibly comfortable and blackout shades were great!!!Walkability: Easily walked to restaurants and to the Dome.

Perfect hotel for a quick stay. Rooms were clean, service was quick and the location has some great restaurants in walking distance.

The staff was really friendly, loved the room and location. The lady at the bar did a great job with our drinks. My husband and I will definitely stay here again.

In a nice old style building. You will have to pay for parking. Great BBQ walking distance from hotel. Staff is really nice.

5/5 for a 3 star hotel. Hope that makes sense: it does exactly what is says on the tin: clean, comfortable but not luxurious, friendly enough staff, great value for money. My favourite short business stay hotel brand.
