Vince is the owner and he took on this shop just a couple years ago. Him and his wife both work here, and you can tell. Watching his interactions with other customers and employees really highlighted how well respected they both are, and honestly, don't we all wish we could say that about our employer? And that's just the people. The work as well deserves the same level of praise. My wife and I are grateful for the attentiveness and dedication to quality work and service that was shown here. I can't find enough words to express our gratitude. Thank you to all of Affton Auto and we will forever be your customer. Supporting local businesses like yours is what it is all about. Went there needing a quick emissions test for new license tags. They were super friendly and got me in immediately. Highly recommend and they also give great auto advice!

Vince is an honest man. Our car was messed up due to Jiffy Lube and he not only fixed the car but handled Jiffy Lube for us. I really appreciate how you always treat us like we are your only customer.. I recommend Affton Auto to everyone in my family and my friends. Thank you again Vince

I was refered to Affton Auto Service about doing repairs to my trailblazer. I called an spoke to Vince the owner an he told me to bring my vehicle in & I explained to him that I had to have it towed. We discussed what was to be done & he did exactly what we agreed on, he is honest & professional & repair technicians were polite & professional. From now on I will be taking my vehicle to Affton Auto Service, and will refer him to all my friends. As a female customer I didn't feel like he took advantage of me.

This location has professionalism down pat with quality service. I had my Sequoias lower oil pan replaced. Scheduling the appointment was simple and I even asked if I could source all my own parts which wasn't an issue! Vince made me aware of what all was needed for this job and I called a few times to confirm things to ensure he and his team were set. Would recommend this auto shop to anyone. Just make sure to help out the mechanics and have that undercarriage clean for them!

These people are the greatest. Honest, fair, and fast. The entire repair industry could take note how to take care of customers. They replaced a throttle position sensor on my 2005 Ford escape even when the dealerships said you had to replace the entire throttle body. I highly recommend this place. Thanks Vince. Your awesome.

I brought in my 08 *****, told them it was over heating and I deliver for a living. They told me it needed oil pan gasket and valve cover gasket and charged me $700, I agreed and paid the $700. I picked up the car and it over heated on me that night and wouldnt start once I turned it off. I brought it back in two days later when i could get a ride to it and they said it looked fine??? They only did a pressure check, I originally brought it in asking for a diagnostic test on anything that could be wrong to due with over heating. So they in my eyes just had me pour money into a car that dont run Right and didnt even look much in too what I brought it in for. I am no mechanic so when I bring a car to a place I expect to be helped by the pros with knowledge and not screwed out of a weeks pay. Im about to have the car repod now because I hade to buy another car with what I had left so I didnt lose my job. They took a weeks pay from me and left me close to unemployed and now my credit is about to be tore to shreds and Im losing the car. Pass on this place, that is not right!!!

I purchased a vehicle from Grow Auto that needed a few finishing touches to make it perfect. I was from out of town 3 hours away and ended up bringing the vehicle back to St Louis so that Vince’s crew at Afftons (new ownership) could work on the 2007 Lexus LS460L since they had already been familiar with it from prior work at the dealers request. From the moment I walked into the Shop Vince (owner) was welcoming and understood I was from out of town. Instead of spending the morning waiting in the shop he offered to drop me off at a diner right down the road. They got me fixed up and ready to go in a very timely manner and even found a few extra concerns which he fixed right up! I have total faith in my new to me vehicle. I was even able to catch up with Vince about his business and share some great side stories. I’m even going to be taking my vehicles to him at this distance in the future. It’s hard finding a reliable, knowledgeable mechanic shop you can trust! You’re in good hands with Vince and the Affton Crew! Thanks again guys!Services: Engine repair
