Very short and unfriendly on the phone. If she doesn’t want to answer questions about real estate she shouldn’t do real estate. “I don’t mean to be rude…” but write better descriptions of your properties and people won’t have questions.

With my wholehearted sincerity, I recommend Joanna and her team. She was there for me when I needed to sell my house. We were struggling financially while living in the bay area and we couldn't afford to keep it anymore. No other agent would bother talking to us. She found a buyer during shaky economic times and helped close on the home while we stayed remote. Fast forward years later, we returned to the home state I love and needed a home for our family. Needing to kick off the search remotely, we remembered Joanna. We had finicky criteria for a new home. Joanna understood us and found the house that met our needs, expectations, and budget. When we arrived in MO, our dream home was waiting for us. She's there through and after close of sale. Because, anything unexpected can happen.

Please do not use Joanna! Buyers Beware!!! She will not response to your agent, she will be dismissive & will break a contract and then not do anything about it!! She is a horrible realtor & won't take responsibility for her mistakes that cause others pain and suffering!!! Do NOT USE!!!

I am a new home buyer and like many others, I had a long list of real estate agent names and referrals to choose from. We made the decision to work with Joanna Horstmeier and that was the best decision we could have made. She had more knowledge of the housing market in our area and the surrounding areas than I thought imaginable. She was very thorough, organized, and helpful throughout our home buying process. After showing several houses, I decided on a home and Joanna immediately went to work gathering everything informational we could need on our house and the comparable houses in the area. Needless to say, I was very well educated on my home, thanks to Joanna. When closing day came, there were no surprises, Joanna had everything set up, all parties ready, and like the entire home buying process, it was easy and stress free. I will personally recommend her to my friends and family.
