This is the second time that I’ve ordered something online and the items are not all available in the yard (no big deal that’s not my gripe). So the guy at the yard writes something on my order form with the quantity of the items I have picked up and tells me to go to customer service to get a refund for the items they don’t have in the yard. I go to customer service and show them the form and they look at me like they have no idea what I am taking about. The order form I have from the back of the store doesn’t work as a recipe so I have to show them several emails from the online order, none of which work and eventually they just refund me the amount the difference that was written by the guy at the yard on the order form. This is the second time it’s happened and the first time it happened I had to walk go back and forth to the yard to get the goat rope of a situation figured out. My impression is the people at customer service don’t know about the policies or procedures that the guys at the yard use in these circumstances and it waste so much time.

Their cattle counter at the front gate broke by cellphone in my pocket. I fought with the customer service for 8 months to get it repaired, and they simply would not do it, not to mention that terrible sass mouth attitude of their managment on the phone. I wish so bad we could have spoken in person. So bad.
The people actually working there, doing actual work were very nice and apologetic of course. It's always the people in charge who suck.

Unfortunately they lost a customer today. When three of my items did not ring up correctly the checker a bald man got frustrated and offered no solution. I went back to the shelf to make sure I was correct, I was, their prices were incorrect. They still did not offer to correct the prices when I went to the service desk. I left all of my items and went to Lowe's. Very disappointed.
Update: having contacted the store via the email address you provided. Then having to request the manager actually respond to my first email. I can see where the problem is. When the management doesn't care it shows and that carelessness was carried on through your employees. Shame on you menards.

Super great! Dustin H was super helpful with all of our questions, he helped us get everything we needed! The best part is we stayed under our budget and got every appliance we needed plus some extra side stuff because we were so much under our budget! The rebate is a big plus, we spent money and will get money back for doing so. We rented a truck to get it all home in one trip which was super convenient! I can’t wait to use my new appliances, I am one happy wife!

Needed a new water hose. Got it. Shopping for vanity lights and a new kitchen sink. Didn't get those, but will probably return and purchase. Bought a box of Dove Bar ice cream treats and sat in the parking lot and ate them so they wouldn't melt before we got home. Good times.

Bought a lawnmower, doesn't work. Refuses to exchange it, implied it was my responsibility to get the broken lawnmower that THEY sold fixed. Basically stole 250 dollars from me.
Bums. Never again.

Didn't realize how good we have it at this store with the employees until I visited the East store. Every employee here is always super helpful and friendly. Always willing to go out of their way to help you find whatever you need. Love this store!

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at your store on May 19, 2024. I visited the store around 10:00 AM to fill my 100-pound gas tank. Initially, everything seemed to proceed normally. However, when I asked the employee who filled my tank for assistance in loading it into my car, he responded in an unkind manner, stating that he could not help due to store policies.
I find it unreasonable and disrespectful to expect a customer to lift and load a 100-pound tank alone. This is not only impractical but also poses a safety risk. I have visited your store in the past to fill my tank, and I have never encountered this issue before.
I urge you to investigate this incident and take appropriate action. I will be leaving a public review on Google Maps and social media to inform others in Springfield about the lack of assistance available at Menars. This experience was deeply disappointing, and I hope you will address it to prevent future occurrences.
