Some very interesting art pieces. The hostess was very nice and shared some details about how the museum originated. Worth an hour or so of your day. Great date day activity.

It was a great experience on our girls' trip. Several works of art had us in highly debated conversations of what images we saw in a few paintings. It was a great addition of things to see and do in Sedalia!

The Daum is a great museum! It sits next to/on the beautiful State Fair Community College campus. Be sure to visit SFCC Gallery also. There is a fantastic exhibition of student artwork.The special exhibitions at the Daum have been outstanding over the years. Their personal collection is diverse.I highly recommend a visit. There is an amazing curated exhibition of women artists currently on view (April 19, 2023).

Cute museum inside the college. three floors and one gallery across the way from the rest. It's got a good variety of modern art. One of the galleries was being worked on so we skipped it, but I'll definitely be going back to see it once it's done. Altogether we strolled through for about half an hour. Just me and a one year old, probably would've spent more time if I were by myself. Wish they had a pamphlet with maybe some descriptions or history on the pieces in the collection.

Astonishing high quality contemporary art in this done gallery in Sedalia Missouri. I almost fainted with pleasure when I stumbled on an etching by Richard Serra, for example. Completely worth a serious road trip.

One can always discover something new.Vickie Weaver does the best job preparing teachers to employ Visual Thinking Strategies in their classrooms. This helps students discuss art without feeling bashful.As a community resource, the Daum is indispensable!

This is always a great museum with a family friendly atmosphere. The artwork is excellent and I enjoy when Vicky comes to discuss the current works. In addition, the student showcase is outstanding!
