This price chopper continues to disappoint us. I've bought several items that are expired or bad. Everything is over priced and the staff isn't really on top of things. They just roam around and stare at you. The Starbucks inside this price chopper is event worse. Don't waste your time.

This is a joke of a grocery store. Their meat is pricey, low quality and doesn't taste fresh. The baked goods are literally tasteless. The overall selection is outdated. The shopping carts need to be repaired or replaced, they don't go straight because the wheels are all messed up. I drive to KC to get groceries.

This place price gouges it’s customers. I just paid 6$ for 12 strawberries. Your prices are unjustified and atleast 2$+ on everything compared to just about every store because you know we have no other options in town. #greed

It has really gone downhill. Customer service has fallen off. Prices are considerably higher than the other grocery stores but they know they have captive audience with limited availability for close stores. They even took out several registers to put in self service but no discount for you saving them employee wages. The old manager had things running like a top. Always had product on the shelves or would special order products for you if requested.

We turned to the wonderful and talented bakers at the Platte City PC for our family birthday parties. Once again they delivered on a delightful, fun birthday cake for our four year old grandson. Great job. He loved it! Thank you for an outstanding job.

Better management, nicer people. Some staff doesn't say hello, or even look at you. Train staff better. And get management on the floor working instead of staring at everyone.

I want to give a shout out to the Platte City Price Chopper. Not only was I able to get everything on my list (my big grocery trip for the month) In the midst if the coronavirus chaos, every register was open AND they had multiple people on the floor restocking. Every employee I encountered handled themselves professionally and with a sense of humor.

Nope right on down the toad to Hy Ver!!!! It's disturbing that this is the only market close by. Aside from a complete swap out of employees when the brothers sold this loc to the Cosentino's, they also completely moved things around, making it more difficult to shop. They've also removed any resemblance ofManischewitz items. I know so many people who now make the trip to Hy-Vee in Kansas City. As well you cannot trust the store hours; they FO NOT open at 5 am on Sunday. I've been sitting in the parking lot in excess of a half hour waiting for them to open before. They're also not responsive to letting the employees in the door on time, further slowing down check out. Super disappointing to have gotten the new store, fell in love and then it's being sold. .

When I visit family in Weston, we always go to Price Chopper for groceries since it is the closest store for us! I have shopped here a few times and I am overall pleased with the cleanliness of the store, and the assistance from the workers! I am very pleased with the produce section. My only complaints would be that they don't sell sushi, when they have pomegranates they are always rotten, and the prices are extremely high! On another note, I will say they offer a great 3 piece chicken tender meal (two sides & a role come with) for $7.49! I also can't wait to tell my family about their Chopper Chicken TUESDAY! Which includes 8 pc. fried chicken or 1 Rotisserie Chicken, 2 sides, and 4 rolls - All for $12! Easy, quick, no-cook winter dinner. They typically offer great savings on Ibotta! Platte City Price Shopper is the only grocery store available in Platte City--the motto is not "try harder" but *we're the only store in town so service and fresh produce are unimportant". Feel bad for the five star rating folks as unfortunately they have never been exposed to a well run grocery store.
