Very unfriendly and unprofessional staff at this location. I had a package that missed delivery on Thursday, I filled out the redelivery slip online to have them keep it at the post office. Went to come get it and the older lady behind the counter tells me that a courier went out with it anyways and that he was a couple minutes away from my house.Well by the time I get back to my house the courier had come and gone and still didn't leave my package. Went back up to the same post office 5 hours later and was told again by the same lady that the courier was still out and that it hadn't been by my house yet.I wait the rest of the day on Friday and still no delivery.Come back again Saturday morning, to once again get the same lady, telling me that I wasn't home when it was delivered. I told her that I had been home all day and that it never came. Her response was "Well you weren't home while you were here."I understand that sometimes there are miscommunications, and that things will inevitably get mixed up, but when the website tells me to come pick it up and they have sent it out anyways, that is pretty annoying. Add that to the rudeness that exudes from this post officer's employees and it makes for a very poor experience.

The woman at the desk I went to for help was so hateful I left crying. I ended up leaving with no help and went to a different post office.

I had a package that was late and I came by to get some assistance. Barbara was able to identify why my package was late, contacted the facility, and gave me a call confirming the package was out for delivery. Rare top notch service with the amount of volume they do every day.

Had to go there today and noticed the clerk (the shorter one) was extremely grouchy and rude to all the customers, including me. (Wasn't my first experience with her either). This lady should have called in sick with grouchitis and took a couple days days off. From now on I'll wait for the next open clerk before going back to that one. . Totally worth the wait because the other clerks have always been pleasant and helpful. Merry Christmas.

About a year ago I went in to complain about my delivery driver setting my package down on my porch and then kicked it. I showed the video to the postmaster and he was only concerned with whether the driver put on his seatbelt. Not that the driver damaged my package. I now am in the never ending loop of address change. My brother in law changed his address and now mine, my husbands and brother in laws is going to brother in laws house. My husband came in to change the address for us 3 weeks ago and our mail is still going to brother in law. ??♀️

I took a small bubble mailer in to return to a business and I took the printed out label, I wasn't sure if they had to print something out and stick it on the package. It turned out they didn't need to print anything out, but she told me they can't tape the label I brought, I need to tape it on myself. I asked if she had any tape she could hand me so I could put it on and she said I could purchase tape there. I just said ok, thank you, and left. (I don'tdo confrontations). I didn't want it to sit in my hot car all day so while I was doing errands in Springfield I took it to the post office on Independence and she took it and taped it and processed it no problem. I didn't say anything about the Nixa office while I was there. I've never had a negative experience at the Nixa office before so that's why I didn't give a one star. It would just be nice if they could've been more helpful in that situation.

During the scamdemic they were posting signs calling themselves heroes, lol. Not firemen, police or nurses...not soldiers or teachers but postal workers. Here is the thing you are out classed by Amazon, Fed Ex, UPS ( sometimes), and email. You are not heros because you inhaled your own fumes through a semi permeable membrane. And heros don't have to tell their own tales let alone put up banners proclaiming it.That being said they are pretty nice, do a decent job and have long since gotten rid their virtue cloths. Ozark PO is slightly better although the driveway is harder to navigate.

Our mail carrier refuses to get out of her truck with a package. She stuffs whatever we have into our mailbox even if it damages the package. We've complained about it but nothing is ever done.

A package I needed asap sat in their post office for 3 days, and now it says it was sent to New York instead of just sending it to me one town over? Obviously they cannot read or deliver anything correctly otherwise I wouldnt be having this issue.
