Went to the apple festival today! Had some apple pie from their 10' pie!? By the way, it was amazing! There were lots of vendors to check out. Here's a little bit of history to read about for y'all history buffs?.

Spend some time here at some of the historical places that downtown liberty has to offer. This is a very neat place with some amazing architecture. It was fun to drive around the different neighborhoods and see the beautiful houses in this downtown area. We also went to a place called liberty Jail. Here they talk a little bit about the history of some of the pioneers that came to the Missouri area. This was a very spiritual experience for me and my family as well. I definitely recommend coming to the historic liberty area.

Hueys breakfast was the best!! You have to visit the farmers market - live music, great shopping and so many food choices !!

Beautifully restored historic Liberty Square is an undiscovered gem. In one corner is the bank that Jesse James robbed in day light which was a first. Restaurants - La Costa Mexicano, Luigi's and Catch 22, Yoga studio Serenity in the Square, D' Agee florists and others are good reasons to visit Liberty Square.

For sure, I am proud to have grown up in Liberty, MO - great small town feel/community yet still very close to central KC. The square is very well-maintained and has several good places to shop, dine, etc. Plus it has great events such as the Fall Fest.
