Some of the reviews for this quiz location scared me, but I just had an excellent experience. I was in and out quickly and the woman who drew my blood was friendly and did a great job. My dr hadn’t faxed the orders as I was told and she took the time to call and get the orders sent over and then get me right in. Thanks!!

If you like to be yelled at by staff, not treated like a paying customer, not respected as a human and subject to horrible attitudes from the staff, this is the perfect location to schedule your appointments. If you read other reviews, it's clear many have the same, disappointing experience.I called the Quest customer service number to ask for the manager's contact information and told Quest does not share that information.UPDATE: Just wanted to share that in addition to the horrible experience, the staff did NOT perform the correct process. Of course Quest Diagnostics did NOT notify us, our doctor did!We will NOT EVER return to this location. The management is poor at best and their responses to valid concerns are “canned” which indicates to me they have too much business and don’t care. Very sad.

Not even 1 star worthy. I have asthma and cannot breathe well behind a mask. My minor daughter was refused service because we did not have masks. Wasn't even asked about a medical condition for not wearing a mask.We came back with masks and upon signing in they needed to scan the patients driver's license. Since my minor child does not have a license, I signed in my name with license. Thay were real snippy about that. When I snapped at the technician she changed her attitude. But after sticking my daughter and not getting blood, she swiveled the needle around tearing her vein. She says her arm is numb and heavy.I would like to address the fact that you need better quality staff that actually cares. And if discrimination is wrong then why are people who don't wear masks being discriminated against?

If they had a negative number thats what I would be giving. I got there with my son to have his blood drawn and they lady was RUDE preceeded to complain about the computers being down. She has 0 people skills. In my opinion you are in the eyes of the public you need manners and I dont know maybe just maybe act like you like your job. My sons Dr. Wanted alot of different blood work done and she even told me she didn't know what viles to use. Blew my mind that people could actually get away with treating people like this

I have never been treated so rudely as the person who came out and talked to me at the front desk. She (Brianna) yelled at me because I didn't have a mask, I asked if they had one and she told me I had to leave and find one. I had made an appointment at 11:00 AM and drove 45 miles to get to this appointment. The day before I had called and after two hours, I still could not get ahold of an actual human who could verify that they had the correct kit for me to get a series of tests done. However, the woman who took my blood was very kind and understanding and she knew exactly who the rude person I was talking about. I will never come here for medical tests again.

I always have had a great experience at the Lees Summit Location. Everyone on staff has been so nice and professional, and good at drawing blood.

Rude staff. Showed up at 4:25 with my two young children to get my son's blood drawn. Google showed them open until 5, but apparently they are only open until 4:30. Staff were beside themselves that I would show up so late. They complained loudly to each other and sighed heavily through the entire procedure. They pointed out that I should have looked at the Quest website instead of Google. We felt uncomfortable the entire time. The last thing I wanted was a rude person poking my 7 year old with a sharp object. I'll drive to another location next time and hopefully be treated like a customer/patient, not an inconvenience.

I never got to the point of making an appointment. The automated system was so screwed up it kept saying "sorry, please say 'yes' or 'no'" but hadn't asked a question. After battling my way through there were no appointments. I do understand that Covid is making things difficult but there should at least be a way to be able to ask questions of a human. There wasn't. Interesting. They must have so many complaints that they have an auto response bot which offer apologies but no solutions. This actually just makes it worse.

On Wed Jan. 6th I arrived at about 4:10 pm. As I was checking in a woman/phlebotomist (white hair) barked out the door that everyone needed to have all their insurance and paperwork ready to go as they now close at 4:30 PM. She seemed highly distressed as many of us are these days. The 4 people in the lobby were perplexed as Google still shows the closing time as 5 PM. Because she was so snappy and upset I left, deciding it would be better to come back the next day.On Thurs. Jan. 7th I came back earlier & I got lucky to get Jan (brown hair) for my phlebotomist. I have been to this location multiple times & she is the best phlebotomist ever! It never hurts & she gets it right every single time. This is the 3rd or 4th time I've been lucky enough to get her. If not for the experience on Wed. I'd have given 5 stars. I never make an appt. & have never waited longer than 25 min. Thank you Jan for your top notch service!

I was a bit worried about how this would go due to the reviews here, but I was blown away by how quick and pleasant this experience was! I made an appointment as recommended, got a text with a link to check in when I arrived. Once I checked in and sat down, there was a list on the screen with my approximate wait time listed. I waited maybe five minutes before being called back by a very friendly phlebotomist who got me in and out very quickly. Definitely recommend and will remember this place for any future lab work needed!

My daughter had to get a blood test for TB & had never had a blood test before so she was nervous. I had to wait until later in the day to take her due to school etc. We had no appointment & luckily there was no one in line ahead of us. She took us back & said "oh no. This test has to sit for 30 mins & we close at 5pm" I said "oh gosh I'm so sorry. We waited due to school. So I need to take her out of school & bring her back tomorrow ?" The lady hesitated a minute then said "No...it's ok. I'll stay". I can't tell you how much I appreciated that! She didn't hv to obviously. I also explained how nervous she was etc & she explained what she was doing then had her count down from 10 then stuck her at 7 which definitely helped a lot. I'm in healthcare myself & I'm NOT easily impressed (especially when it comes to my children) & whn it was over my daughter said "That's it? Wow. That wasn't nearly as bad as all the horror stories I'd heard!" She was very pleased too. I didn't catch the techs name but she was AMAZING & had 32 years experience. I've had a lot of experience (both as a provider & a patient) so I know an excellent phlebotomist when I see one. This lady was TOP NOTCH! We will definitely be back. Thank you so so much to her & Quest for having such a wonderful employee!

Love calling your location and having to listen to a 6 minute rambling message and then being told to press 3 to schedule and it goes to to a black hole. Called back 3 times only to find that all of the extensions listed on your message go to black holes which then lead to more rambling messages. No more Quest for me.

Called and scheduled an appointment after having a referral from my doctor. Upon arrival they did not have me down for any appointment. Then they had no idea why I was there. After telling them they told me I needed to have a order from the doctor faxed. After receiving the order they told me i had to wait and that they didn't know if they could perform the test. After all confusion was over turns out I had to wait 2 weeks because I lacked receiving instructions from my doctor... ok not their fault. I scheduled another test 2 weeks out had shown up for my appointment and the same thing happens. They don't know why I'm there, have no doctors orders even tho they just had it 2 weeks ago. Same thing all over again. Needless to say I left. The right hand has no idea what the left is doing and very poorly organized. I'd strongly suggest getting tests done somewhere else.

Been waiting on the results of a Covid test for 15 days. What’s the point in getting tested? Go elsewhere. Not worth the time or money.
