Quiet, clean hotel. Kinda smelly (not too bad, just kind of a weed smell) . Friendly service, beds kinda hard, but it was fine to save a little money for a 1 night stay!

Older place, so it fits what you pay. Staff was available 24-7. Clean rooms for an old building that excepts dogs. Some chewed furniture that's expected in a dog friendly place. Holes in ceiling possibly for new TV upgrades in a different location ? or maybe old light hookups, not sure. Breakfast choices are limited, however, not bad. I would definitely stay here again. Also within walking distance to several places like stores and food places.

Chair clearly wasnt cleaned, there was a dried booger on the shower wall, the carpet was wet AND sticky? First floor smelled like incense and weed, 2nd floor had a completely different not good smell. Sheets were clearly not washed, only supplied 2 towels and 4 small throw pillows for a king size room. Water wasnt very hot, and if your taller than 5'10" your gonna have to crouch in the shower. bathroom was so small 2 people couldnt stand in there together.. Ive stayed on couches and friends places that were cleaner and with better amenities.

It's a dump! Do not book here. I don't expect much from a cheap hotel, but clean sheets are a deal must. The comforter reeked and made me question if the sheets are even clean. I can deal with a weak ac, gross carpet and thin walls but this place is absolutely disgusting. Look elsewhere for your stay in Kearney.

Our stay 04/08/24 to 04/09/24
We’re from Texas and needed to drive to Minnesota for work. We stopped here for the night around 10pm and called ahead to make sure there was a room available. The night shift lady with blonde hair was super nice to us! Extremely friendly! First time seeing a room with 3 beds which was perfect! Nice, big and clean rooms. A breakfast section near the lobby at 6am - 9am we did take advantage of that ? they have stuff to make toast and waffles and cereal, to make coffee and they have apple and orange juice.
Overall excellent customer service!

We stayed here two nights and it was wonderful! Very clean room, nice staff and bed was comfy!! Great location and the indoor pool was nice!! Breakfast was ok. And the AC could of used some work but other than that the stay was nice!!
Rooms: Nice very comfy.
Nearby activities: World of fun and the zoo.
Safety: Felt very safe!
Walkability: Close to a lot of stores!!

Nice check-in staff, comfy bed, not loud even though close to the highway, clean rooms. We couldn't figure out how to work the TV but they had waffles and biscuit and gravy for breakfast.

It’s too bad there isn’t a 0 star selection. This place doesn’t deserve the 1 star. Worst front desk staff. The man at the front desk was rude and very bad at customer service. We checked in and realized the pool was closed. Who knows how long that’s been out of service. There was NO elevator!!! Went to our room and we didn’t even set our stuff down because we immediately wanted to check out. DIRTY. I don’t think they even cleaned. The room across from us had its door open and no one was in it. Our lights didn’t work. There were stains on the curtains and we didn’t even want to check the bed because I’m sure there were bugs. So we checked out 15 minutes later and went to the holiday inn across the highway (I highly recommend going there) the man at the front desk was very angry and wouldn’t give us a refund, so we are currently waiting for the dispute. And we will be contacting corporate. This place should be shut down. Very sketchy. DO NOT stay here.
Rooms: Gross rooms, dirty. Not in good repair.
Safety: Not safe. Random creeps lurking outside.
Noteworthy details: Don’t stay here, save yourself the trouble!

Horrible. Would not recommend for even a few hours. Booked. Got to our room and didn’t like the smell and stains on curtains. We found a new hotel and asked to cancel. Front desk got angry and said we have to cancel through the online reservation. Said we were in the room an hour. We got there at 8:40 and got to the Holiday Inn (Much better) at 9:15. So not sure how that’s an hour. Guy thinks he works faster than he does I guess. Stay far away. Dirty. And not a good area. Room doors randomly open. Pool has been closed for who knows how long. Thanks

Got in late so checked the bed for bugs and went to bed. Got up in the morning the toilet was like a wobble chair. Went to shower no hot water not even warm water. Someone else's washrag was hanging over the shower head from the last occupant. Close to where we were needing to be for the next day but didn't stay another night in this hotel.

Bad business, a walk in customer shouldn’t be turned away at 6am especially when your parking lot was at half capacity vs the other 4 hotels nearby.
Also, it smelled like actual poop walking into the lobby.

There was a condom tied around the sprinkler in our room, which is not only gross but a safety hazard. Our bathroom floor was sticky and there was a wet towel on it when we got there.

Excellent place to stay. Very helpful and cheerful staff. Very clean rooms and breakfast was very good with several choices of food. Towels were thick and high quality. Even the plates for breakfast were of high quality ?I would highly recommend this motel.

Do NOT book this hotel! Plenty of other hotels to choose from. I booked and paid through hopper. I told the associate that at check in and he said “yes I know this isn’t for a charge we just need a card”. He spoke very rude and I was tired so I just slid the card and went to bed. I confirmed at check out I already paid through hopper and they said yes they see that. An hour later I get a second charge from the hotel and not hopper. I called them and they said oh you never paid we won’t refund. Then I call hopper and they call the hotel and say they are “working on refunding me”: 10 days later I am waiting on an update from the hotel. The hotel has to be holding on to the revenue to pad their numbers. I don’t even have an answer on whether or not they are refunding it. The main reason I chose this location was a free breakfast and it was all old and expired food. The hotel wasn’t even busy and I can see why. No one expects a 5 star experience at a quality inn but when you add low quality with terrible customer service from associates who are apparently trained to scam families to make up for the fact they don’t have the sales to pay for a not expired breakfast.
