MOD is always a destination for me when I'm in KC. The gallery provides an insightful interactive experience with its openings and first Friday events. The live DJ compliments the art and exuberant patrons of this special place.

Cool open art, music. and event space with a bar. Very Crossroads in it's art laden walls and eclectic seating and table options. Large open space in the middle for dancing by the DJ stage. Always a fun spot to visit for First Fridays with several artists set-up outside and other galleries close by, as well as lots of art in the back hallway and oftentimes live art at the front. Drink options are bottle or can-only. Some packaged snacks are available but no food outside of that. No outside drinks allowed.

We got there for the new years party and it was quite disappointing. The DJ was quite awful as he couldn’t get a good beat going. and the crowd was a total let down. It feeled like few people are shouting in an empty room with terrible music! Neither of us got our money’s worth from this event.

This is the place to be on First Friday. Part art gallery and part music venue. The art gallery rotates presenting artists. It also sells selected works and hosts interactive events like painting classes. The music venue schedules mostly electronic and dance-based performers. The events are usually scheduled on weekend evenings however special events will pop up from time to time. It's a little small inside, but the sound is pretty good. Lights are okay. A cash bar with limited beers and mixed drinks is available.

Brun and Tessa were amazing bartenders and they were so sweet! They made the drinks perfectly and kept up with my crazy banter. Tessa didn’t even laugh when I made a fool of myself for my friends video! Very sweet humans! Mod is a good place to vibes
