“So I thought that my truck suddenly started handling/driving a little weird or different. While looking around I found that one of my front coil springs had literally snapped the spring itself had broken and separated. I originally planned on repairing it myself being some what familiar and comfortable with doing my own repairs on my vehicles for most of my life. It was still drivable so a decent amount of time went by when I realized I was just too busy and didn't have the time and needed to bite the bullet and pay someone to get it done. I recently moved to Gladstone and heard about Bill and Larry's shop which is very close to my house. I went on and read the reviews and honestly that's what helped me decide that I was going to give them a shot. I found out there was one technician named Rick that handles all the repairs that come through the shop. My first impression of him gave me the confidence to hire him for the job, not to mention I thought it was a very fair price he quoted me to do so. During the repair he ran into some snags such as other related parts connected to my suspension assembly had to be compromised in order to replace the coil springs and strut assembly. He immediately called me and updated me on the situation and continued to do so until completion. The price did have to go up no doubt but he kept it at an amount that quite honestly surprised me and impressed and relieved a lot of my stress. It only took him a small amount of time longer than he predicted to complete the job. I was very pleased and satisfied with the end price and my truck drives like it did the day I bought it again. I highly recommend if you want to have a similar experience regarding any situation with your vehicle that as we all know is never fun; I highly highly recommend you take it to Rick at Bill and Larry's shop. Inside the store they have a large variety of disposable vape, some liquor, and cold beer. Good variety of energy drinks and large variety of candy. My granddaughter loves this store for their unusual candy selection. She can always find something that's a little bit different from other convenient stores.”

“EDIT: Two weeks have passed since I wrote this. Not one reply from HyVee. Now I have to say I do not recommend this store. Yes, I still recommend HyVee store 1 on St. Clair for the time being for only one reason, one employee, which I will state at the end of this review. I am a HyVee Plus member who has had multiple problems with Aisles Online over the past year.. Have spoken with one female on the phone over the past several months about the problems who is often bordeline rude and seems like she does not want to help when there are problems with my order. She is the person who I am always transferred to when there is a problem. She always appears like my phone call is a bother to her rarely attempts to rectify the problem unless I push her and threaten to report to corporate. This review, however, is focusing on the more recent problem with Aisles Online. It was a few days ago when two items were not delivered with my order which I desperately needed that night. I often cannot get out to shop and depend on Aisles Online and delivery. So when this problem occurred I called the store SIX times from the hours of 6-7pm on Monday, December 19, 2022. I called the main number, 816-505-1000. There was no answer every single time I called. I literally let it ring 20 times each time. That in itself is unacceptable business practice. Out of desperation I finally called the 800# and even though your recording said not to call them if it was about Aisles Online to directly call the store instead, I had already been calling the store for an hour as I said above so it was a last ditch attempt to get help from your company. The woman at the 800# was kind, apologetic, and was more than willing to help me. First she tried calling the store. She also got no answer at your store number. She then called a department number and got through. She connected our call with a young female and stayed on the line while I told the young woman, your employee, that I needed the two items I paid for that were missing from my order. I also told her about calling the store and not getting an answer multiple times. Then the most disgusting thing happened. The young female employee lied to me. Since when do employees lie to customers? That is the worst solution to an already growing problem! I hope that is not standard operating procedure for HyVee! Your employee lied by saying she had called me and left a voice mail about my missing items. I replied that I had received no phone calls or voicemails. She insisted that she called, thus continung to lie! At this point I was ready to return my entire order and find another store to shop that night. She obviously heard the disgust and growing anger in my voice and said she would get the items to me. I told her I would not pay for delivery and since I am less than a mile away I expected my items immediately. She said okay. Then the BEST part of the experience happened! Your store sent Molly Brown to my home with my two items. She texted me first to let me know she was on her way. She was kind, apologetic, and polite. She spent a few minutes talking with me and encouraged me to not stop shopping at your store, to please give the store just one more chance, even though I have had multiple problems in the past year. She was respectful, friendly, kind, professional, and polite; everything a long time paying customer wants. See, I have been shopping at your store for many years, ever since it opened. I was at the Grand Opening. I have referred many people to your store to shop over the years. So, I am asking you to somehow honor Molly publicly or at least to the rest of your employees to let them know what kind of employee the HyVee standard should be, not the kind of unmotivated and uncaring employees that are becoming more and more prevalent in your store over the past few years. One last thing...my name here on Facebook is my nickname. If you want to know my real name, ask Molly. ?”
“Friendly staff, great selection of items and they do a great job of keeping it stocked. The 3 video slot machines are not necessarily ideal because3 sometimes attract not the most upstanding of clientele which promotes a lot of unwanted loitering and panhandling in the parking lot. it can sometimes feel unsafe especially when you have 3 dudes rushing you as soon as you step out the door asking for a dollar or two. They do take EBT and the sell "loosies" which is nice (I believe 2 for a dollar--although i'm not 100%). All-in-all this is my go-to spot for snacks and essentials if.P.S. I know they're never gonna get rid of those slot machines lol. Actually it'd probably be more crime out there, not to mention the sheer outrage it would provoke.”
