Large store. Big liquor selection. Deli food available. Nice store specials. Large close parking lot. Just off I-70.

Disappointed I ordered my daughters cake 2 weeks in advance. I asked the lady before I ordered about the cake, it looks NOTHING like what I ordered for my daughters birthday she was crying because she was excited for her Elsa cake on her birthday.

Love the bakery! Best place in town to get my cakes, etc. The bakery manager is so pleasant and helpful. She really knows her stuff. I won't go anywhere else but there for my bakery needs.

The prices are so much higher since they are now the only grocery store in this area. It’s really sad and hopefully the grocery store replacing the old SunFresh will have better prices. For example, a bag of Doritos are $6 here vs. $4 at Walmart. I understand the prices of groceries have gone up all over but it’s excessive at Price Chopper.

This location and this particular owner is way better than any of the "balls" PCs. The carts are nice, new, clean and the wheels roll really good. The carts even have a place to set your phone on. The "Mckeevers" ones are nice too. This store is cleaner than a lot of the other price choppers too, surprisingly.

Price Chopper is my go-to store! I guess they can't help it if food prices are so high, but I can find everything that I need as well as quality and fresh meat! I will be returning weekly!

NOT THE WAY I WANTED TO START OFF MY 4TH OF JULY!! The meat department manager lies to me over the phone and tells me they have ribs now that the smoker is fixed. I've been buying ribs from this store for years and I've pretty much always been able to count on them having them out and ready to go by like 9am since they start smoking them at 6am. The conversation I had with him was very clear from my end when I told him I needed a slab and was literally on my way. He was like "yeah, come on in!"
I get there, nothing. Ask the meat guy in the area what the deal is. He knows I'm upset because I just got lied to and drove to the store for nothing. What does he do? Takes his sweet a++ time going to the back to get an ETA and literally has me standing out there waiting for close to 5 minutes!!! Now I'm really getting mad at this point. It felt intentional whether it was or wasn't.
I'm gonna cut out a chunk of the middle part and go straight to the end part. So, the manager that I spoke to in person before I left was Brian. He listened to me explain the situation and my frustration and he came across as very professional, listening intently and patiently, which I appreciated.
So here is the WEIRD part, and even frustrating too. He tells me he's going to get an ETA on the ribs. Leaves and then comes back to find me in the deli area about 7 or 8 minutes later and he walks up to me with two containers of slabs of ribs. He said he didn't know how many I was needing so I say to him that I only needed one. What does he do? He places one in my shopping cart, and inside my head I'm screaming!!! so I guess I don't get to pick and choose which slab of ribs I want?!?
Look, I know the guy was trying to be helpful, but it was one of those situations where you're attempt to help just makes the situation worse.
Brian, I take the enjoyment of my food seriously, and part of that enjoyment is having the ability to pick and choose for MYSELF which slab of ribs I want. Not all slabs of ribs are equal, some are WAY BETTER than others. The one he placed in my shopping cart is not a slab I EVER would have picked out for myself. If it was the very last one, maybe, but probably not.
Ok so here is the weird part, after I thank him and walk away I think to myself, "I'm swapping this slab for another one". So, I go over to the section where they should be, no ribs. WHAT??
About 10 minutes goes by and a man comes out with a flat cart with a out 16 slabs of ribs on top!! HUH?! Not to mention, these slabs looked WAY BETTER than the 2 slabs Brian brought out to me 10 minutes prior.
Idk, seemed like he just went back there and took a few out of the smoker, packaged them and brought them out to me to get me outta there fast. In his mind he probably felt like he was doing the right thing, and I admire that, but it took away my chance to choose for myself and I didn't appreciate that.
I also didn't appreciate the manager in the meat department smirking and grinning the whole time I was speaking to him about my frustration. He literally lied to me (maybe it was an unintentional miscommunication in his end) and then when I confronted him he just acted like it was nothing.
Last thing, the first guy I spoke to in person in the meat department, the one that made me wait for like 5 min in the aisle for an ETA, he verified that yes, by that time, 9:07 approx, they should have slabs of ribs out. BUT, apparently GARY is not one of their best people in the meat department and the blame was put on him. The guy said Gary isn't the normal guy that smokes the ribs, it's usually someone else, so that was supposedly why they weren't getting the stuff out in the normal time that they do. So, meat department, I truly hope you guys practice accountability. GARY either needs to be trained properly or he shouldn

I appreciate this store because of the location, however; I dare say, they don't appreciate me. When I asked a person working there why display zcon next to sweet cakes? His answer was they do the same thing.
