“Went to the apple festival today! Had some apple pie from their 10' pie!? By the way, it was amazing! There were lots of vendors to check out. Here's a little bit of history to read about for y'all history buffs?.”
“On a recent visit to KC, my wife and I were walking from our Airbnb to CVS to grab a few things when we stumbled on this GEM along the way.We collect MCM furniture, bar ware, & vinyl and this store did not disappoint.”
“If you are into American pickers you have to see this place. Honestly one of the most amazing antique stores I've seen in a decade. They seem like a unseen wing of the American History Museum!”
“We love this place! I has many items for everyone. Prices are good but need to know what you are looking for and how much you want to spend. Or just wander and find new treasures. The guys who run it are nice and let you browse on your own but are willing to help if you need it. We have bought a variety of items here and were very happy. Good parking on the street.”
“I was there today shopping, Friday, February 3rd. This has to be one of my favorite antique vintage store at the West bottoms. I was so impressed and I could not quit shopping. I came home with some beautiful items that I bought there and my friends now want to go with me next time on first Friday to shop.”
“I've been shopping here since I moved to the Kansas City area 20 years ago. I can always find something I love at a great price. I love to see Amy's face when I walk in. She's so friendly and helpful!”
“So many wonderful things! I sure found a treasure for a very good price. The owners are extremely nice people. I've driven by so many times, now I'm sorry I haven't stopped before”
“Very interesting stuff. The staff was helpful and friendly. I found a few items to purchase. I didn't get to the outside stuff but you just have to go look.”
“Nice store with a large variety of items. Located in a nice area/ neighborhood. Staff was friendly and greeted everyone as soon as they entered. Building was rustic and cool to look at how things were made back in the day. Nice place and would go back.”
“LONG BUT WORTH THE READNestled in the heart of Kansas City's historical West Bottoms, you'll find a gem that's as rich in character as the neighborhood it resides in - Martin's Memories. This four-story warehouse of vintage treasures and modern creativity is not simply a store, but a journey, one that will take you back in time, while simultaneously inspiring you with fresh ideas. As you step through the door, you are greeted by an array of vintage furniture, each piece telling a story of a bygone era. The scent of aged wood and the patina of time-worn finishes transport you to a time of simplicity and charm. As you make your way towards the center of the first floor, you will discover a nostalgic candy shop ran by the sweetest Nana B. She sells a variety of old fashioned candy, soda, and every flavor of taffy you can think of. The clothing section, filled with handpicked vintage attire, is a fashion lover's dream come true, offering a unique blend of style and nostalgia. But Martin’s Memories is not just about the past. It’s a vibrant hub for local Kansas City artists and small businesses. The store is also a treasure chest of repurposed pieces and handmade gifts, each item breathing new life into the old, showcasing the ingenuity of local crafters.Located at the corner of W. 12th St. and Hickory St. inside a building that has stood since the 1800s, the store is an architectural marvel in itself. The charm of the historic building adds an extra layer of allure to your shopping journey, making it a great place to spend an afternoon, immersed in the beauty of the past and the creativity of the present. One of the highlights of Martin's Memories is the opportunity to become part of this vibrant community. The store offers a place to those who are looking to sell their vintage finds and handmade goods, creating a platform for both budding and established entrepreneurs to reach a wider audience. The heart and soul of Martin's Memories is Vickie, the owner. Her heart of gold shines through in the way she runs the store. Welcoming, accommodating, and passionate about her work, she has created a space that is more than just a store - it's a community of like-minded individuals who appreciate the beauty of the past and the creativity of the present. In conclusion, Martin's Memories is not just a place - it's an experience. A trip to this store is like embarking on a treasure hunt; you never know what you might find, but you can be sure it will be something special. Whether you're a vintage enthusiast or someone looking for a unique shopping experience, Martin's Memories is a must-visit.”
“Charming and fun shop! As I browsed the collectibles, I happened upon their collection of assorted crystals, that my daughter-in-law and I both love! Friendly, welcoming proprietors. I will return!”

3111 Gillham Rd, Kansas City“This place was awesome! If you're looking for unusual or period pieces for your home...this is the place to look! The gals that run the place are very helpful too. I was in town celebrating my son's birthday with him and he recommended going there to find furnishings for the Airbnb I'm setting up. I found several nice things, at a good price. I'll be back.”
“There are very few people like this man left in America . His skills are top tier . Restored the works and restrung an 1891 Gustav Becker double weight Vienna wall clock for me . He found and corrected problems I wasn't even aware of. Perfection is what I received in return at a price I didn't bat an eye at . Very greatful to you .”

Amazing experience Placed another order today for Super Bowl outfit because of how positive my first order went. I get so many compliments on my Redzone Taylor’s Version sweater it’s insane.”
“AWESOME ??‼️LIKE being in a museum, or at grandma's. Could spend HOURS & HUNDREDS $$$ there❗️❗️❗️?Very clean and comfortable, even have rest rooms❗️”

713 N Willis Ave, Independence“AMAZING! Everything is priced SO well for vintage, I can never leave without buying something as they really have such a wide range of stuff to check out. I tell all my friends about this store (even if I would rather keep it all to myself :) ) Check this place out for sure especially if you're a fan of trinkets and vintage!”
“Loved being in this store brought back good memories from my grandparents. I miss them. God Bless them sometimes I wish I could have this place cuz of them. ?❤️”
“This is a cute little trading post with great coffee and pastries, along with local treats. What it's not is an antique store. There are a few small cubbies in what feels like your grandmas attic and a few knick knacks. Some crafts. Just took a star off as we went out of our way to stop by, but it took all of 3 minutes to walk through. Again, great little trading post but not the antique shop or store you might be thinking if you happen to be antiquing from out of town.”
11AM - 3PM
213 N Main St, Independence“This is a fun little store to explore. They have everything from china and glassware to knick-knacks, linens, handkerchiefs, books, jewelry, and a lot of other things I remember seeing in my grandmas' homes (I'm in my 60's). They also have a cool selection of reproductions of colorful, humorous metal signs; and a number of very nice handmade crafts items. The people working there are friendly and helpful, and make the experience a pleasure.”
10AM - 6PM
1005 Rte 291, Liberty“Nothing like an antique mall as a great place to walk around and visit with family. After a great lunch at the Red Door Wood Fired Grill we slipped over to the Liberty Antique Mall and had a relaxing time and found a couple of treasures. Got one person knocked off the Christmas List! I was excited to see a booth by the Mid-America Antique Radio Club. Lots to see in the Liberty Antique Mall!”
“I love antique store and will spend hours in them. I also sell coins in another antique store. I like happy rock but the layout is very confusing. I felt like I went past the same stuff multiple times and passed over the middle section because it's a corn maze.”
