My new bathroom is beautiful! The design process (selecting the tub, cabinets, tile, paint color, everything needed for a beautiful bathroom) was easy with the help of LeahAnne. The carpenter, electrician, plumber and painter were all professional and friendly. The carpenter even came out one weekend to make sure the job was completed on time. I am so pleased with the bathroom that I will be calling on Thompson Price when it comes time to remodel my kitchen.Services: Tile work installation

The design team did a good job, but the contractors and some products they used and recommended were not up to par. Congoleum Duraceramic flooring is a mess and began chipping as soon as it was installed. TP recommended we wait and see what happened after install was complete. Will never do that again! After they had our money, there was little we could do. The floor warranty is not worth paper it's written on and got nothing but the run around from TP and Congoleum. All Congoleum has to do is send an "expert" out to say it's the homeowner's fault and you're not covered. Now when the floor is in such poor repair, TP tells me the warranty has now expired....thought it was a lifetime warranty. Other issues: grout cracked where countertops meet tile backsplash (should have used caulk) and paint is coming down from kitchen ceiling, due to poor prep.Services: Kitchen countertop installation

Great experience! From design to construction, everyone was professional and friendly. The design team was very accommodating - since we went from an original small project to a much bigger design, and helped us figure out how to get everything we wanted in the space.The trade personnel were all very friendly, competent, and easy to work with.Our new kitchen and dining area looks fantastic and we have lots of storage space we didn't have before.If we had to do it all over again, we would choose Thompson-Price.Services: Kitchen countertop installation

From planning to the end product, all persons involved performed excellently in their area of expertise. The communication among the office staff and professionals (owner, designer, plumber, electrician, carpenters, painter, mirror, window, countertop and shower door installation personnel was exceptional! Hope I didn't miss any one! This project ran like a fine tuned machine! I especially liked that this office provided a one-stop shopping experience. No extra trips or time was required to various locations throughout the city to shop for countertops, cabinets, flooring, etc. Appreciated the idea of a final walk through to assure the customer was completely satisfied. If anyone wants a Fantastic company to do any remodeling in their home, you can not find anyone better than Thompson Price. They remodeled our master bathroom 5 years ago and did a beautiful job. The installation, the quality of work and the time taken was as promised.The best of all of this is since that time, I have had a couple of small issues and there was no hesitation helping me get the issue resolved.Great company . We did an extensive remodel and would use these people's services again. It's funny I said, "we," when really Thompson price did the work.. they made us feel like partners. The few problems we had after a renovation (there will always be minor issues with any renovation) were addressed.. this was extremely impressive and the "problems" were minor (wanted hotter water from a fixture, had another fixture raised higher). This company's follow up is extremely Impressive. They showed up on time, provided a schedule, and did what we paid them to do. We aren't used to contractors doing what they promise. Their crew consists of amazing people and the project manager was absolutely spectacular. The renovation took 12 weeks, which was stated beforehand. They were within 3 days of their projected end date (given prior to start). I would recommend their services without any hesitation whatsoever. Realize, "you get what you pay for..." we shopped around and Thompson price wasn't the cheapest bid.... but they also weren't the highest bid, either. They asked detailed questions about our life, usage, habits, what we wanted, and so on. They tailored the solution to our needs and took resale, taste, and current styles into account. They helped pick materials, colors, but allowed US to decide and take our time. They were patient with us and provided design guidance. Actually, they're quite an amazing company. They are very busy, so just know if you are doing a remodel, they may take 8 months to start your project. However, you don't pay anything upfront except for a design consultation, which also includes two site visits. They measure everything twice, not kidding, two separate in-home visits.. that's before you put any contract money down. You have to pay money for the consultation meeting and site visits, and it might be a few thousand dollars, but if you use their services, it goes towards the project. The consultation includes several architectural drawing options with dimensions , electric, etc, and they're yours to keep whether you use Thompson price or not. We found other remodeling places do the same thing and we don't blame any of them. All proposals are drawn and shown on a flat screen so you will have zero surprises, unless they find things during removal or demolition. Remodeling things is stressful and these people took the stress away. It's important there wasn't one surprise during the remodel... no "hey, the wrong cabinets were ordered...." or "this doesn't fit...." or "we measured incorrectly " etc. we aren't used to this behavior from any contractor and have had horrendous experiences with Porch.com , Angies List (absolutely a complete waste of time), or even home advisor.. we chose Thompson price because they're not closing anytime soon, are reputable, and because I adore an AM radio show which is "Frank" in its opinion.. anyone on that guy's show, we patronize.... it has never failed us, and did not here. Our renovation was completed 9 months ago, so I'm writing this review long after completion... the reason I state this is because we are still impressed with their services now, even numerous months later. I'm glad we used them and I'd recommend them to anyone for a kitchen or bath remodel. They reconstruct closets also, which we might ask them to do, if they've the time.

Thompson Price just completed our guest bathroom renovation and we are completely satisfied. We were so happy with their work with our Kitchen and Master Bathroom so we knew to call them again for this last project. They provided floor plans to choose from that matched our budget. Their showroom and personal designer helped us make decisions on everything from the counter top to the wall color. They completed the project as discussed and promised.

I visited the showroom and was greeted by a nice salesman. He gave me his pitch and all was well. However, he kept checking of me to see if I had questions. I started to feel the pressure sales and I kept my cool. I just wanted to look around for ideas. As I left the store another sales person/manager started asking me if the salesman had informed me of prices and services. I said he did fine. I thought the manager was very high pressure. I feel sorry for the people who work there. Also, I mentioned that I had visited RSI showroom. The manager cut that business down. Speaking ill of a competitor is not a good way to do business. Overall, I think they are a good company. However, I'm not a fan of pressure sales.
