I regret stopping at this Branch every single time. Today was as slow as ever!, and when they finally answered me in the drive-thru I was told that it's going to be a while. No explanation, no communication, just thanks for waiting? So after another 4 minutes I asked for my $40 check back and was told "oh we will work on it now". So all together almost 15 minutes to cash a $40 check with no communication as to why the long wait. I have a lot more patience when there is communication. There was no long lines in the Drive-Thru, no obvious swamping of cars/people to the lobby. Communication Communication Communication!!

If you are looking for a construction loan DO NOT GO TO ARVEST!!! We have had nothing but issues with this bank trying to get our construction loan. We do not have bad credit. We have a good income. First, they will add outrageous proposed monthly payments when calculating your DTI. They also tried to use our rent we pay now (while building) as permanent income when our house is built against our DTI. We had to fight that. The last straw was the appraisal.They used an appraisal company who only appraised our new construction house at $91.50 a square foot. Other banks in our area are apprasing new construction at $130-135 a square foot. We submitted an appraisal appeal and were told "no changes" even though they didn't have the right land appraised, we had to do our own comps (absolutely no help from Arvest), and then they stated our comps weren't good enough. They didn't give us a criteria for what comps to use, but we did our best to get comparable houses. The appeal also was at a meeting WITH THE TERRIBLE APPRAISER doing the final say. BE WARNED, DO NOT USE THIS BANK!! We are now having to start from square one at a different bank. I have closed my account with Arvest and will never do business again here. Trying to warn people so they aren't in the same boat!!**I have already been contacted by a manager at the Carthage Bank location and I was only offered adding more risk to our loan or submitting an additional appraisal that would cost us more money. No guarantees that appraisal would be better and they would go with the lower amount.**

Crystal lane in commercial loans was absolutely amazing! It was a pleasure working with her. I had my check in hand by 4pm ! I have always hesitated to do business with arvest because I thought that they were slow... However crystal really changed my mind ! Thank you again !

I got off work at 6 in the morning and I'm waiting 2 hours for them to open up and when I go through the windows and they made me feel unwelcome Staff doesn't even smile

I have been banking with Arvest on Central for several years now and have found all the employees very helpful and friendly. They are always prompt and quick to answer any questions I may have. In a time when customer service is failing in most industries it is refreshing to work with people who genuinely care about their customer's needs.
