Great service, good dirt at a good price! Easy to pick up. The best part is NO Weed seeds are ever mixed in unlike the cheap compost mix the zoo sells.

Very polite and attentive service. Prices are average, so that's a little disappointing, especially when you're buying a large bulk load (17 cuyds). Overall satisfied because of service.

This is such a great resource for mulch, soil, compost and more! They are easy to do business with. You can also drop off sticks, brush and grass clippings for a small fee.

Awesome experience and felt 100% confident that I was working with a great company from the start. I called 4-5 different companies. Finally ended with Kansas City Composting. My journery started with Ms. Tonya, and was followed up on promptly twice. Niki called back to set up expectations. "Expectations" are huge. The driver was super cool, very professional, and polite. I like that we went over the drop before hand and after he made sure that it good to go. Hopefully everyone gets Kevin as a driver.

I ordered over $300 in raised bed mix for my garden this year and it has herbicide in it. All my broadleaf plants are deformed and cupping. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!I called and asked for the test results on the soil I purchased and there is no screening done for herbicides. This is unacceptable, and will be reported to the EPA.

This place is great. I've been dumping all of my yardwaste & buying all my mulch/soil from Kansas City Composting (previously Lawn Corps) for five years. I used to get it in Martin City, but its worth an extra 7 minutes drive for savings and friendliness at KC Compost!** Note: If the weather's bad or it's a holiday, consider calling ahead to make sure they're open!

Prices for compost and topsoil are in line with other suppliers. I felt the quality of the compost/ topsoil mix was good too. Unfortunately, they are a somewhat out of the way from me ( not their fault of course :) They used to be called Lawn Corps.
