The Dent Devil did a wonderful job on my car following the hail storm we had in late May. I had more than 25 dents and you would never know it looking at my car today. Great job!

I had hail damage from the storm in May 2024. Everywhere I called told me they could work on my car in September or October but Dent Devil said August. After visiting with Terry (owner) and considering my calendar, I chose Dent Devil. My 2023 car came back with no dents and looked brand new again. I was also impressed by the customer excellence provided by Clayton and Terry. Both men were patient, answered all of my questions, and I never felt rushed or made to feel like I was bothering anyone. I also learned a lot about how awful car insurance companies truly are and how difficult they make it for companies like Dent Devil. Any delays or “problems” were always because of the insurance company. You can’t go wrong with Dent Devil … white-glove service at its finest!!!

Terry is the best! Professional, courteous, honest and extremely hard working. He's there for hours every day to make sure his customers are taken care of.
They repaired the hail damage on my car perfectly. My insurance caused the delays, not Dent Devil.

The Dent Devil is absolutely Top Notch in every dept . Terry the owner is extremely knowledgeable, takes his time explaining everything in the process , including All Insurance Companies processes . All employees go out of their way to offer exceptional service and my experience at the Dent Devil was Top Notch. I rate this company a 10 . Highly recommend The Dent Devil to Everyone. .

EDIT TO RESPOND TO DENT DEVIL:
My insurance carrier had already completed their estimate and I have a check in hand for the repairs they say they needed. I'll reiterate the problem: Dent Devil failed to follow up on the communication they sent to my insurance - if in fact they ever did send anything to them - and Dent Devil did not tell me that they were having communication problems. As to the comment regarding a rental car: 1) what does that have to do with the problem of Dent Devil not communicating, and 2) not that it matters but we have three cars and we were NOT inconvenienced by not having the Subaru. We were inconvenienced by Dent Devil's failure to communicate and take action. I challenge anyone to not be frustrated when a company fails to communicate. Best of luck to anyone who deals with this company. They clearly will try to gaslight you into believing that you're the crazy one. Final note - Dent Devil's response to this review is the most communication I ever received from them.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I am very disappointed with my experience at Dent Devil. My wife and I brought our 2019 Subaru Impreza to have hail damage repaired. When we initially took the car in for an estimate, it was agreed that we would drop the car off on 7/15/24 and allow at least three weeks for the repair. I appreciated knowing up front that the repair would take some time due to potential delays with the insurance company. Unfortunately, this is where my appreciation ends.
Throughout the entire time Dent Devil had our car, we received no updates. On 8/5 my wife and I started calling for an update, and we left three different voice messages. On 8/7, I received a call back, but it was cut short due to other customers in the shop. The caller asked for my name and phone number to call me back—despite them initiating the call—which raised concerns about their organizational process.
Not receiving a call back, I visited the shop during my lunch hour to get an update. I was asked if I had heard from my insurance company, as Dent Devil claimed to have sent information to them on 7/16. I had not heard anything and asked about the status of our car since 7/16. I was quickly told that it wasn’t Dent Devil's responsibility to follow up with the insurance company and that my car had been sitting in Target's parking lot without any action. During the entire time our car was at Dent Devil, no one contacted us and when we dropped the car off we were assured that they would be working with the insurance company.
Had I not visited the shop in person, I don't know how long my car would have sat waiting. Dent Devil returned the keys to our Subaru - without my asking, stating that if I was upset with them I could take my business elsewhere, and I am now looking for a new repair shop.
I am honestly at a loss as to what the expectation was. Dent Devil said they would work with our insurance company, they didn't, and they were upset at us for being frustrated with them for their lack of follow up. This was not an example of different communication styles - there was zero communication from Dent Devil. I suppose I was supposed to know to follow up with my insurance company telepathically? I'm not sure, but I am sure that I want to warn others who like to be communicated with and treated with respect to stay away.

Terry at Dent Devil was absolutely the best! The costumer service that this company gives is so genuine and caring! Terry went out and looked at my car for hail damage and said we will get this taken care of no problem. When I picked my car up he walked me out personally and inspected the car to make sure all the dents were out of the car. He genuinely cares about his customers and takes the time to make sure their experience is a great one.

We have left our car to be repaired from hail damage for 3 weeks now, we have gone back and forth asking about the status. Nothing has been done so far. The insurance keeps asking for better photos of proof of damage! We are very frustrated that we have to be in the middle!

Dent Devil Ballwin is excellent.
Terry and staff are great.
Had crease in Toyota Sequoia lift gate. Dent Devil Ballwin team made it disappear.
They are on my "Go to first" list for auto body repair.
