We have been at CCW since September and we absolutely love it. The office managers are very nice and helpful. They always answer the phones, maintenance is kind and helpful! Having stayed at a few complexes over the years, this is by far the best experience I've had. You definitely get your money's worth with the nice appliances and upgraded look. The neighborhood is peaceful and never any issues or drama . I saw some people say the trash compactor is sometimes full but I've never seen it. They have a playground that my boys love . So far so good!

Not worth the rent sorry apartment manager won’t even fix the washer been out for 3 weeks but harassing about a day late rent lied about ordering washer and dryer when Home Depot warehouse and store is right off of Goodman road and by law it’s supposed to be fixed in 14 days

Overall, my time living at CCW was not terrible. A lizard or two (I almost fainted) and maybe 2 bugs in the entire year that I stayed there. Trash compactor was overfilled at times but there's only one for the entire complex. Maintenance men were kind. My issue began after I moved out (1.5 months before my lease ended but I paid rent the entire time). I relocated to another state and needed to leave before my lease end so I cleaned my apartment, turned everything off, locked up, and returned the key. This was my mistake, I should have kept it (not sure if it would have helped). Around the end of July, I received my final bill from Entergy and it stated that my bill (from June 5- July 13th) was $70. I was baffled because I left on June 2nd and the air was off and the only thing plugged in was the stove and fridge (I have video evidence). I called them right away thinking that there was an error and the representative assured me that it wasn't and walked me through the per day billing for the billing cycle. The agent went on to say that they think that someone in management probably turned the air on and left it on which they are not supposed to do (I have evidence of this conversation as well). The agent showed me how to access the per day billing which proved that on June 3rd & 4th, the air was off as the billed amount was $.10 and $.9, respectively. I called email CCW, Alicia Michael--the Assistant Manager, as she initially showed me the property and is the one that I had been in contact with throughout my time there. I provided the final bill, due date, the per day billing from Entergy, and even offered to pay the bill in full if I could be reimbursed. Alicia admitted that someone went in the unit and turned on the air and did not turn it off. No one reached out to me to let me know via email or phone call even though I spoke with someone from the office on June 5th (the day that the air was turned on). I even reached out to Alicia once my lease ended to inquire about my security deposit and still was not informed. They knew that this would affect my bill and said nothing--SURPRISE! I would have been more understanding had I known or if they turned it on for a showing or something. Alicia stated that they turned it on so that the apartment would not have mold, however, I don't know this to be true. It could have been as simple as turning it on for the final walkthrough and forgetting to turn it off. The FINAL walkthrough should not have been done until the lease ended in that case since I was still paying rent until July 15th. In the winter, we were sent emails stating that it was below freezing and MS pipes can't handle the weather so to leave your water dripping and/or turn the heat to a certain temperature. I asked Alicia if any correspondence went out to residents regarding the need for air for the entire summer and she responded that there was not. I then asked where was it stated in the lease that the air needed to be on which it is not in the lease. That's like saying that I have to turn my air on as a resident which I do not have to and I didn't have it on frequently as I don't care for it. Keep this in mind. When I moved in in July of 2022, there was no air in my unit. I almost fainted moving in due to this--it was blazing outside on that day. I mentioned this to Sam, the manager (she moved me in) and I was told that the maintenance man that could fix the air was on vacation. Due to this, I spent my first night in a new state sleeping in the MODEL UNIT. This was fine until I attempted to sleep in one of the beds and saw black droppings so I slept on the couch until morning. I then went to my apartment and continued to move without AC (needed when moving in/out in the summer of course). I went and bought a fan which did not help. I did not have AC for days in my apartment (mentioning this because Alicia stated that air is needed in the summer months). They brought a portable AC unit which leaked water so badly on the floor of my apt that the maintenance man had to bring a

This place is the worst apartment company I’ve ever rented from. The managers working in the office are lazy and spiteful. The Regional manager is no better. Full Pass on this place if you want to save yourself a lot of trouble. The maintenance department is dismal and if you have an AC outage or your heat quits working don’t even bother calling for help, no one will call you back and no one will show up. We’ve been here a year and still haven’t gotten our AC or Heat fixed. Glad our lease is up!

I lived there for 2 years and I can say this place should be rated the number one place for having the worst leasing office manager and staff in the world, read all the negative comments before you rent, the leasing office manager 'Alicia Michael was so pathetically rude and unprofessional and this was only the tip of the iceberg of what follows if you ever needed anything from these people, bad experience and will never do again.

Window was broken for two years! Never fixed. Some people in office are awesome. Don't care about tenants, just money. Advised that the apartment I moved out of was being totally redone with new appliances and countertops. Then charge me for "dirty " appliances?? Since it went section 8, went to crap. Turned into south Memphis! If you like loud rap music and weed smell all the time, this place is for you! A lot of the residents are moving out. Was awesome for about a year. The maintenance staff are great!!

The only thing nice here is the landscaping! The gates are ALWAYS broken and continue to stay open!! You're paying for a gated community, beware... you are not going to get it at Civic Center Apartments! Being the gates are always broken; high traffic constantly drives through the complex. Safety becomes a concern. The owners /management has a lack of concern but want your gated community rent each month. No pest control.... lizards are all over the doors and breezeway at night. Be careful opening your door.Outdated appliances in supposely updated appliance apartment.People hang out on the stairs, can't get to and from your apartment door.Noise level is a nusiance at times, especially after hours. This apartment community has gone downhill.Office staff are not honest about certain things before move in. They're meeting a quota and filling certain buildings with certain individuals.Maintenance is slow to get things done.

This place is absolutely disgusting if you can find anywhere else please run and do not rent at these apartments I’ve been here almost 2 years waiting for my home to be built and it has been the most horrible two years in my entire life. The customer service is worse than the property Sam and Holly are absolutely no help they do not care about their jobs or the tenants which is the reason they even have such a low paying unfulfilled job. You will experience bugs galore they have wasp Nest all over the unit and refuse to do anything about them I had a refrigerator breakdown and ruined $300 worth of groceries three weeks ago and now I’m experiencing a water break under my sink maintenance has refused to contact me over it resulting in even more property damage. If you can find anywhere else to live I would recommend 1000% not worth the high rent they charge. These units are not at all worth what they are charging no updates have been made the flooring is legit a sticker cover the countertops look like something you would see in a jail. STAY AWAY I will be doing a review on all of my social medias along with pictures and videos.

Management is always nice and helpful! Always! Anytime I've had any maintenance issues, maintenance personnel came and fixed things immediately. It's always quiet with no problems but whenever there is a problem, the courtesy officer handles it. I love it here!!!

I wish I could give this place negative stars. My boyfriend and I put in an application. I didn't get a chance to submit my application before they rented out the unit. We ended up cancelling the application altogether because we found a better place. I just got a call that I didn't pay my $25 application fee, which I didn't because I DID NOT SUBMIT AN APPLICATION. They told me that it was an error that our screening shouldn't have been able to go through without the full payment. So they made me pay for the screening I didn't ask for and the application that was cancelled or else they would send it to collections. It didn't help that the girl on the phone apologized every five seconds because she clearly knew they were screwing me over. Crappy place. The buildings are falling apart. Employees don't have a clue what they're doing. The place is an actual health hazard.
