I sold a 14 caret bracelet for scrap gold. It was 4.8 grams. The value I calculated was around 196.00 I was offered and accepted 110.00. I was in a tough spot so I didn’t haggle. The gentleman was professional and did things by the book. Understand the shop expects to make a profit on all transactions.

I had looked at other pawn shops to price my items and Sam gave the best price. He is a very honest guy with a great since of humor. By far the best pawn shop on the coast.

Sam is the best Jeweler I have ever dealt with. He is honest, genuine, and cares about people but most of all loves his Mom!!!!

I am extremely disappointed in this establishment. If I could provide a "0" rating, I would. The owner, Sam, seems to be very prejudiced against elderly women and it is extremely noticeable. While in the shop for the first time, I noticed a couple of women in the establishment trying to obtain assistance from Sam himself. He made a comment about women getting fat while on vacation because 'all they do is eat and drink and get fat' and the proceeded to point at one of the women who was very beautiful and petite, implying that she was indeed overweight. The look on this woman's face was disheartening as you could tell that she had been offended and truly hurt by his comment. This same woman asked Sam whether he could please help her fix some of her jewelry. He looked at her and said, "I'm not going to be responsible if I break it. You can take it to another shop and ask them to do it for you. The lack of professionalism, respect and customer service that I witnessed was unacceptable. I will never go to this establishment again, nor when it is relocated to Biloxi. If that had been my sister, mother or family member, I would have reacted in a much different way. Instead, I chose to leave and will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. Women of all ages and types deserve respect, no matter their station in life. To support such blatant discrimination only endorses this type of prejudicial behavior and hate.
