Cornelius was super knowledgable, friendly, calm, & helpful in arranging a 1-way pick-up for me to drive to St Louis. The young woman on duty when I arrived advised they were out of compact cars, so I received a courtesy upgrade to a large SUV, which I truly needed for all the stuff I was moving. Great service from Hertz in Oxford!

They called at last minute and told that the rates I booked through Hertz were there by mistake and we actually have to pay $100 more for the rental that was for a day. Very poor service

The location tried to tack on a $100 fee that was not shown at booking online. We were also told we needed to take the car ourselves to get an oil change and would still be charged for the time that we would need to take it to get serviced. No manager was available to help us nor would the manager answer the phone. Their corporate customer service wouldn’t even patch us through to a real person to get help. Online said they would get back to us in 3-5 days. Don’t bother renting here. Try enterprise. We didn’t have issues there, any hidden fees, and didn’t need to waste our time servicing their vehicle like hertz tries to do.

This place is Horrible I will never.rent a car from here they lie to you when you get their and never have nothing their I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone go to enterprise down the road

This location customer service is HORRIBLE! I was over charged and the supervisor admitted to seeing the charges, I explained to her that the young lady at the desk told me one thing but charged my card for another, the supervisor then says well you must didn't read the contract you just signed and walked right out the door? and basically saying well there is nothing she can do even after having proof of my original booking, I was double charged for a car that was only on a half tank and long crack through the window shield tire pressure low. If it wasn't for me being in a car accident hit by a drunk driver I would've never accepted the car. I took my services to enterprise and it has been EXCEPTIONAL!SN: There were alot more bad reviews on here about them just one week ago.

Booked a car on June 7th and they call me on August 9th saying there are no more cars for my trip on August 12th… DO NOT RECOMMEND…. So glad I had a back up plan

Unfortunately this is the first and last time that we will use Hertz in Oxford. The check in went ok, but the car had not been cleaned from the previous user, but it was not terribly dirty. The issue was when we dropped the car off. We noticed on the initial paperwork that the mileage was written illegibly and to be on the safe side I snapped a pic of the dash with starting mileage, date and time, before we left on our trip. Good thing, because when we dropped the car off, the attendant proceeded to charge us almost $200 for over-mileage! We confronted the attendant and immediately received an attitude. A few remarks were made and the error was eventually corrected and we were not charged. What could have resulted in a return customer will not, due to poor customer service. We have always used Enterprise and will continue to do so.

I experienced a very last minute need this week for a rental, and this Hertz office really came through! I called them just after 8:10am, and I was in the rental car by 8:45am! No fuss, no problem. The individual who manages everything made it all so easy at a time when I was stressed. I couldn’t have had a better experience!

I cannot begin to say enough wonderful things about how helpful and kind Carlos at this Hertz location is. My husband found himself stranded on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere Mississippi today - his rental car from the airport broke down! He was thankfully able to find a ride to Oxford - his destination - but needed a car. Tl;Dr: You're way better off going to the Enterprise rent a car nearby, they're true professionals. People here aren't and will blame you and try to charge you for their mistakes.Long version:I had a really bad experience all around in this place. From the start they sent me the wrong location to the office in the confirmation email, and when asked about it the employee told me "I should just look it up on Google".They day of the return, I was here 15min before closing time, and there wasn't anyone at the office, but the next day I got called from Hertz telling me I had to pay an extra day. When I refused and gave my reasons, the employee told me that closing time was 430pm (even though the little sign on her window says otherwise). Then I got called by the manager telling me that the employee had clocked out of the office at closing time (a blatant lie, since I was here before that time) and threatened me to report the car as stolen.On top of all this, none of the employees use face masks inside a commercial closed building, in the middle of a pandemic.

They made it easy it rent no hassles ,excepted different payment and wasn't a hassle as enterprise makes everything hard when renting.
