I switched to CVS on all services because I thought they were more respectful. I've always had great customer service. Today I went by and picked up my monthly medication and the lady that was at the drive thru was ridiculously rude. Her name was Lindsey and I was there on June 12, 2023 at 4:30 PM. Might be switching back to Walgreens if I have to see her again. People like that make businesses lose business.

My daddy has to use CVS pharmacy because of his insurance. If he didn't have to use this pharmacy we wouldn't. I call each time to make sure his prescription is ready because they are bad about not filling when it's called in. One medicine he has to take we have to call a few days before he needs it because they don't keep it in stock and they have to order it. You would think when it comes in they would fill it since we called a few days before he is out, but No! So I called and asked if it was ready and they said they were working on it and it would be ready after 2:30. I go to pick it up and go through the drive thru since there is only 1 car in front of me. Wrong decision, I had to wait 15 minutes. Finally it's my turn and I get to the window and they tell me they are working on it. It's 3:15 and they are still working on it? Then they the manager of the pharmacy comes over and tells me I have to move because there are cars behind me. I was there less than 5 minutes. I asked why the car in front of me was allowed to sit for over 15 minutes and was told that they were helping that customer. Then why couldn't I wait until my prescription was ready since they were working on it? Mind you they had been working on it since 11:00. So someone wasn't telling the truth! Also the manager said that they don't know when their shipment of medicines come in each day so they tell customers prescriptions will be ready after 4:45, not what I was told. They need to tell customers the truth not lie to them because they think that is what the customer wants. I wouldn't have been so upset with them if they would have been honest and upfront with me from the beginning and had been told the prescription would not be ready until 4:45. I live 20 miles from there and had groceries in my car that needed to be put in freezer and the manager wanted me to circle and go to the back of the line, which would mean I would be waiting another 30 minutes or more. Not good CVS. This is the CVS in Oxford,MS on Jackson Ave.

I try to give this pharmacy the benefit of the doubt each time I fill a prescription here. I know they have a high surge of prescriptions in a college town while also assisting non student customers. It always seems they have new pharmacy students from the ole miss program there every couple of months and I get it they are learning. But I have never had a smooth experience besides one or two workers that are helpful. They tell me they have the medicine in stock only for me to wait 24+ hours for my prescription which they would tell me would be ready on the afternoon in which I gave them my doctors refill note. So then you wait for around 20 - 25 minutes on the phone to speak to an actual person working in the pharmacy after navigating their awful over the phone pre recorded voice assistant. So finally you talk to a worker and they check your prescription status and say they actually don't have your specific medicine but don't worry they placed an order telling you it should be at the pharmacy in four days. I wouldn't have given my refill to this specific pharmacy if I had known that and wasn't lied to. In my experience it is well worth the drive to the Pontotoc cvs pharmacy to see how normal operations should work. The CVS on Jackson mantra is to just lie and tell the customers what they want to hear so they can place your prescription on a pile of hundreds of others and move on to the next car or person. The reason for my lengthy review is this is now the fourth time this exact situation has happened to me (I know shame on me for trying this many times) and I'm dumbfounded at how poor the daily work order at this pharmacy is.

I have been trying for 24 hours to get someone on the phone. This is the worst pharmacy that I have ever dealt with. Even the doctor and another pharmacy could not get in touch with someone. Sitting on hold for 45 minutes several times today and yesterday is absolutely ridiculous.

I've been feeling terrible for the past few days from a sinus infection and my prescription still isn't ready. No one has even thought to call me to update me with the status so I decided to call. I never got ahold of a human, so after I get this medication, I'm going to a different pharmacy. I've used this one for a few years and they never seem to have it together so it's time to find a new one.

getting my prescriptions from this pharmacy has always been a smooth process, i've never had a problem and it's been like a year now; cashiers are also nice and workers are helpful if you need to know where something is.

I took my disposable camera to the store to have developed before I left college for thanksgiving break of 2019. It is now May 2020 and I still do not have the developed photos. I am so angry at the fact that it has taken so long and that my camera has most likely been lost. I can never replace those photos on that camera. This should never have happened. Do NOT take your disposable cameras to be developed here. Also the staff are not polite and not helpful at all. No one seems to know what they are doing in this store. I will never return to this store again, unless my disposable camera somehow turns up.

They NEVER have your prescriptions ready when called in or dropped off then want you to wait. As if you haven’t already waited 24-48 hours

This CVS is by far the worst CVS I have ever come in contact with. The pharmacists have absolutely no idea what they're doing and are very uncooperative. It seems that every single time I go to the drive thru I am waiting for over 25 minutes. It is absolutely ridiculous and once I FINALLY get the window there's always a problem of some sort as well. It never ends and I could go on and on about the problems I continue to experience at this CVS.

I love my CVS pharmacy in Grenada, MS but the one in Oxford is subpar! I’ve only used this location a couple of times but both times were terrible. I dropped my prescriptions off and they told me that it would be 20-30 minutes. I waited almost two hours. I would have been fine if they had told me that ahead of time instead of saying 30-30 minutes. I do understand that situations arise but that has happened every time I’ve used this location.
