The Cat and Cow Veterinary Clinic is a great place for your Pet's care. The only thing that I would LOVE is to be able to witness our pets being treated. Or at least have a video screen the family can look at while being treated. We just have to take the clinic's word on our pets receiving the exam, shots etc. We witnessed no treatments. Only had to go by what we were told. The staffs are very friendly.

Cat got sick a few days ago, and really needed to get her into a vet today. The last time she was brought to our established local vet because she was sick, I was made to feel like I was over reacting. The bill was extremely high for them to tell me she probably just “ate something funny”. I couldn’t ever put a price on my peace of mind that shes ok, but I did have a hard time paying that bill at our previous vet after being treated the way I was.
Cat and Cow had come highly recommended by many other pet owners, so I called them first today. They took us as a walk in within a few hours of calling. A bit of a drive for me, but is worth it! I hesitated longer than I normally would because of our last experience, but she definitely needed to go in today. For me as a pet parent, it was an emergency. She had a fever, wasn’t eating, drinking or moving. She would barely even lift her head. The vet we saw was amazing! Very informative and explained things as if he was talking about a child of mine and not a cat and was thoroughly appreciated. I do understand now why so many have recommended them for pets on both levels of care and affordability! The the bill was primarily meds, walk in fee, and illness exam but was a LOT less than I was expecting.
My cat did get a bit scared at one point and pee’d in her carrier, which leaked on the tech, but she was a champ and took it well. I got her home and the meds they gave in office really brought her back to her old self and was eating a bit again. I am extremely thankful for the entire experience and everyone involved with her visit. The front staff was amazing and friendly from start to finish. I do look forward to a long future with Cat and Cow as an established vet for my cat. Thank you!

I appreciate how they were sensitive to the needs of my Cody and my needs as the human paying for it. The service and cost were absolutely aligned and worth every penny. My Cody is feeling better!!

I took my 3.5 lb baby Fred, yesterday to get his shots. In 20 minutes he was having seizures. Now investigating the vax they gave him, was simply TOO much at one time. Hardly ever should it be considered to give an ELEVEN week old 3.5 lb rabies, dttp, simperica all at one time. In 24 hours he died. The seizures he had was too much for his little body in combination with too much medication ?? and they charged me 130$ for shots after I brought him back in 30 mins they charged me another 190$ for bloodwork ? he never recovered. I’m absolutely devastated and sick about this

It’s been a week since my dog and I visited Cat and Cow for the first time. My groomer had recommended Dr. SHERIDAN noting that the care was worth the drive; I come from East Memphis.
I could guess that my dog had an ear infection from visible discharge and decades of living with dogs. She was a bit anxious at the vet office but both Dr. Sheridan and the vet tech, Laura, got down to her level to allieve her worry.
I believe they were thorough with her exam to determine nothing else was amiss and we have a follow-up appointment in another week to be sure the ear has healed.
I left feeling the bill was fair and that the staff cared about the patients. I will be back for,the follow-up and will get my other dogs in as they become due for checkups.
In this day of institutionalized veterinary care i am appreciative that this not owned by a corporation (my understanding, I didn’t verify that in any way.) My pet is treated in the room with me and not hustled off down some hallway for whatever treatment. (Dr. Sheridan did say there may be times it is necessary to treat the dog in a back lab where supplies may be more reachable. But the general practice is the owner is there with the pet.
I am just starting my association with this vet hospital but I, like my groomer, find it worth the drive and will be seeking help from Cat and Cow as needs arise.

I've transferred my pets here from Stateline animal clinic about 2 years ago. I love cat and cow they have treated my pets so good. It's important to know who you are taking your fur babies to. They are affordable and also provide payment options like scratch pay or care credit which a lot of vets around desoto county do not! As long as my pets stay happy and healthy I'm happy!

Best vet clinic, they really treat you and your pet like family and not like bill. Very affordable friendly staff. Clean clinic doesn’t smell like a pet clinic. I trust them with my pets health 100%. Kudos to the staff they are God sent

We have 4 dogs we bring to Cat & Cow.
The techs and staff are so friendly and understanding, and the vets are really great with both the dogs and I.
Normally a quick in and out unless you walk-in during peak hours.
Recently had to walk in, and was out before the hour. My girl twisted a toe!! They were quick, caring, and the vet was in and out and it was a shock at how easy peasy they made it for me.

A caring staff and excellent service - I could not ask for better. They go out of their way to help and advise and they, literally, saved my cat earlier this year. Very, Very Happy with Cat and Cow!
