I did everything they told me to and never got my deposit back. Called several times and they gave me a run around. Never rent a car from here unless you wanna pay 300 online and 250 for a deposit that you will never get back. Payless pshh! Paymore!

This was a good experience. Payless and Avis are connected, and the employee was very helpful. I think his name was Jeff and seemed to have a customer service attitude that was over and above what might be expected. I got a very good car and I will use them again if I am down in that area.

Good value for price charged. Dependable vehicle (Toyota Corolla) with 26400 miles, clean and full of gas. Tires needed balancing and car would benefit from an alignment as well. Did not affect car use during rental period…

I rented via a 3rd party app for a family reunion over the 4th of July weekend. I had to extended my initial request due to unforseen circumstances of another family member. I extended the rental twice, and was quoted one amount but after getting back home it was over double what was quoted.It felt as if I was price gouged. I was even charged for gas after I filled the tank and it was more than what was in there when I received it.The service I received at the counter was great, even though it was quite a wait.

Quick and friendly service at the Jackson airport counter, and they had an available car for us when Hertz overbooked and left us high and dry. The car had 30K miles but it was very clean and a great car for the four of us.

The car was not clean when we picked it up. 1. It smelled like smoke. We found a cigarette lighter on the floor by the driver's seat, so a previous driver obviously smoked in it. 2. There was a Dorito on the floor in the back seat and part of a candy wrapper in the rear door pocket. 3. The passenger seat would always ding when someone was in the seat even though they had their seat belt buckled. I went to the counter when finished to try to extend my reservation, but there was a 1/2 hour line up. I called to try to extend the reservation over the phone and they couldn't find my reservation so I just turned it in and used Lyft the two extra days I needed a vehicle.

This company scammed me they originally told me they didn't have any vehicles so I booked a reservation on Hotwire once I saw the reservation it was for Payless I said to the lady "I thought you guys didn't have any cars left. That was a lie and they didnt honor my Hotwire price told me I had to pay a higher price and add insurance on the car withiut me knowing. They also told me the price would go down once cars came back in and when the new week started if I decided to keep the car and that didnt happen.

Great customer service, coming and leaving. Car was not as clean as most rentals, but the car was a newer model and well equipped. Easy pickup and drop-off service. Would definitely rent again!
