I usually rent with Alamo and don’t have issues HOWEVER this time would have been HORRIBLE if it weren’t for Deidre which is why I’m giving 4 stars. I’m knocking off a star because of the customer service I received from 1-800 customer service reservations. They completely messed up my reservation and gave me incorrect information. As a result, I arrived to pick up my vehicles and was vexed to find out the 1-800 agent was incorrect. Deidre was so patient with me and my husband. She helped us find solutions and after an hour and a half, we walked away with our vans. Thank you Deidre!!! YOU are the reason I will continue renting from Alamo when I visit Jackson.

I was happy to rent a car at Alamo Jackson Airport while attending a funeral, but I got stuck with a $2k bill for damage that wasn't mine. I had reserved a car weeks before. When I arrived at the airport late at night, they gave me the only vehicle they had - a hybrid electric Jeep. There was only one person on staff. He showed me the cracked windshield and asked me to indicate any other damages. I found none, so I ASSUMED he would have noted that the Jeep had a cracked windshield before I got in it. I was wrong. Now, I have a bill for a new windshield. I tried to contact the Jackson Alamo, but I am always sent to some phone bank. It was either fraud by the guy working there that night or simply sloppy bookkeeping. Either way, it's a lousy way to run a rental car agency.

Made a reservation 24hours and received confirmation in advance and got to this location and they said we are sorry we can't accommodate you. And that was it, no assistance with anything else.Alamo usually does great this has been the worst experience. I have ever had. They basically said to bad for you.

I rate Alamo a 10/10. Great customer service. Jamarcus Russell and Chrissy guided me through the process, being this was my first rental. Thanks for making my son’s prom night one to remember ❤️

I booked Alamo at the Jackson Airport, unknowingly, 3rd party. However, the customer service I received from the 3 girls would be 5 stars alone.
After I drove in from Nashville, an hour after drop off due to a wreck, the wife, kids, and I were exhausted. We mistakenly entered the parking garage together for an after hours drop off. Well, needless to say we got stuck in the parking garage in our POV. We called Airport Police and they couldn’t do anything, instead told me we were all stuck there until 6 am, and this was at 1 am. Luckily the local police dept gave us a ride 2 miles home. Now, our car is still at the parking garage and we have to get it when they open.
I’m very disappointed there’s no after hours # to contact for incidents like this. If you provide a service I do feel you’re obligated to ensure the overall well being of your customers, and having families sit until 6am after a 6 hour drive is unacceptable.

The representative who checked me in was very pleasant on Thursday, 07 Mar 24 and she alone would have given them a four star rating, but then the hidden fees. Sadly, many of these companies make their money from the hidden fees, which includes a concession recovery fee(yes, we pay for this company to provide rentals at this airport). Please do better or not because there is a need this Alamo and the others will always capitalize: sad!

The woman at the front desk was extremely rude. It took her 2 minutes just to notice I was standing at the desk while she was chatting with the people at the adjacent desk. She had no clue what was going on. I asked why my Expedia reservation wouldn’t work for the same day reservation, and she just yelled “MANAGER” and some other woman walked over and said “we don’t know why it didn’t work sorry.” Top notch customer service coming from Alamo.

My initial review was only 1 star but changed it for a few reasons. We learned (the hard way) that they consistently don't have enough cars for everyone with reservations and if you get there late at night, you likely won't be getting a car. We were told they were over 100 vehicles short the day we flew in! However, the company and especially the manager Faith, worked very hard to do everything she could to make it as right as possible. Still inconvenient but they did have good customer service otherwise.

Fine I was charged an extra day on my card after I checked it the next day. I wish I could have got an explanation for the charge since it was returned as scheduled and filled with gas. That’s the only thing I have had a complaint about with my experiences.
