I moved from out of town and tried to transfer a prescription. I submitted the information over ten times and it never seemed to go through. I called this pharmacy and gave my info over the phone. After a few hours, I called my old pharmacy to see if they had reached out to complete the transfer - they had not. When I called Walgreens back to check on the transfer, I got told that the person had "called and was put on hold for ten minutes." When I said that wasn't true because I had just spoken to them (And by the way, my previous pharmacy NEVER put you on hold), the person I was speaking with told me that they won't call again and that I have to handle it myself. I'm not a pharmacist? The actual pharmacy has to verify transfers.
I'll be using Clint's, per my family's suggestions.

The slowest drive through pharmacy I have ever experienced. And I have used quite a few with my families medical history.

Walgreens has horrible customer service in their drive thru. I have gone at least 3 times when there was a sign saying no pharmacist today. How do you run a pharmacy without a pharmacist ? I'm never going back !!

I changed pharmacies from Wally World to Walgreens for the convenience of the drive thru even though Wally World offers a wider variety at a cheaper price. I like the ability to drive up and get the prescriptions from my car. Well that has become a thing of the past because they have days they just don't open the drive thru. The pharmacy ALWAYS has a new person WITH an attitude like that's a job requirement to be unconcerned and rude to patients fresh out the hospital. I have had the same insurance for the past 10 years...2 different companies but yet they say the insurance is not coming up for prescription coverage. I called both insurance companies and she conferenced call the cashier in the Walgreens pharmacy and she was told to call back "in the morning when the guy who knows how to run insurance is in". Why is there anybody working in the pharmacy that is not familiar with the process of charging the insurance?! Like THAT is the whole job description...you charge insurance companies for prescription drugs! I am a loyal customer to this store and it is not because it is so affordable...the prescriptions I just had to pay cash for are only $4 for a 90-day prescription at Wally World. I come here for the convenience of the drive thru and the smaller number of customers in line waiting. Wally World is ALWAYS packed!

Avoid the store in Brookhaven, MS at all costs. I don’t know whether it’s Walgreens in general or just the Brookhaven store, but it has the worst customer service I’ve experienced in quite sometime. Yes, I know they are busy, but the lack of concern for the customer/patient in inexcusable.

Avoid this store!!! Go to McComb, go to Walmart. They are soooo slow. The pharmacist said come on, your prescription will be ready when you get here. I asked 15-20 minutes? He said it’s ready. Was number 6 in line for pick-up, now after an hour, I am number 4 in line.

I called 10 walgreens and this was the only one that was able to print the mothers day card I wanted. Very thankful.

Once was a 24 hour pharmacy. Just an expensive dollar store now.

The short stumpy dark haired girl working the register on October 6th at 5:13 is extremely rude, can’t keep up with a line of customers and laughed at me while I was trying to drop off a FedEx package? I won’t be coming back here again. Nasty girl.

The pharmacy is far from perfect, but they do their best in these crazy times. Marcus Wilson is the reason for my 5 star. Whatever this guy makes, he deserves a big raise. Turnover is high, even before the pandemic. Marcus is always training someone new, while also doing his job, and is the first person to jump in when the new people have a question or the lines back up. He’s so kind, remembers everyone in town by name and any company should want to keep him around.
