Sarah and Sam's knowledge of their profession made all the difference in sourcing the right fabrics and furnishings to beautify our space. Most important, we avoided expensive mistake. I highly recommend their services, you won't be disappointed.

I called Merriment to set up an in home consultation. Upon calling, I spoke with Sarah, the owner, and she walked me through what to expect when she arrives. I was told that we would go through a contract that stated her pricing at 150 dollars per hour prior to doing anything to ensure that my questions were answered and I felt comfortable enough to move forward. The day of my appointment both Sarah and Sam were over 34 minutes late. I called to ask where they were and they said they never received a confirmation for the appointment. I was furious since I had dedicated an hour of my time and set it aside solely for them and my home project. I also never received a follow up call or text trying to confirm. Do they want my business? Upon arrival, they just jumped into a consultation with my wife and disregarded the contract. I believed this to be a free consultation since again we never went through the contract as stated. Two days later my wife follows up with them to find out what's going on. She left a voicemail with Sam and sent Sam a text. We did not receive a response for more than a week. Sarah and Sam sent an email response back asking if we would like to move forward. My wife and I were flabbergasted. We thought they had been working on our project this whole time. We felt disregarded and taken advantage of, surely due to our ages, lower 30s. I honestly feel like we were looked down upon and not taken seriously as if we couldn't possibly afford Merriment's services. After receiving the alarming follow up, my wife and I quickly decided to not work with such an unprofessional business and replied to the email that we were no longer interested. Much to my chagrin, we were slapped with an invoice for 250 dollars. I thought it was an error and responded via email for someone to reach out to me via phone to discuss. Sarah, very rudely responded via email that she would not call me and we have nothing further to discuss. She also demanded that I pay my invoice. We had some back and forth that culminated in me calling her. She screened me the first time and would not take my call. Upon reaching Sarah, again she is the OWNER, she would not let me explain my stance or view point on what transpired. She demanded that I pay the invoice and we have nothing further to discuss. She then hung up on me. That's what I said, hung up. I was not yelling, aggressive or cursing and she disconnected the phone. Is that someone you want to do business with? I begrudgingly paid the invoice but have filed a complaint with the BBB and will make my voice heard on every forum possible. Do NOT do business with Merriment or Sarah. Extremely disappointed with the entire interaction. Edit: What you are failing to address, Sarah, is the fact that you and Sam provided poor service and a poor experience. You hung up on me when I was trying to explain my point of view.

I felt they completely disregarded me and my house. A waste of time and money with no response to my dissatisfaction. Don't bother. One star only because I had to, to leave review.

I've used Home at Merriment for a very large project as well as for smaller items from the store. Sarah, the owner, listened so well to our needs and style requests. She helped us pick out lighting fixtures, bathroom tile, wood flooring, bathroom fixtures and paint colors. She was so helpful and made suggestions regarding size and colors we wouldn't have normally considered but, so happy she did as we went with many of them.

My husband and I have worked with Sarah (the owner of Merriment) on several projects at our home. Not only has she been fun to work with, but we are very happy with the end results. Sarah is excellent at helping to select products that most closely match a person's individual style or taste and that allow for the best use of a space. I highly recommend working with Sarah on any interior design project.

Merriment did a great job helping me with interior design and decorating my family room, kitchen and pool house. Mary Jo had great ideas, found ways to use and re-purpose items I aleady owned. Mary Jo also found unquie items that fit perfectly with my style and our house. I purchased small household decor items as well as furniture. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I get lots of compliments! I highly recommend Merriment!

We also ordered a custom master king size bed where we were able to choose every detail and she helped us every step of the way. It's gorgeous!! Everything turned out perfectly. We've purchased home decor items and gifts at the store. Such unique and beautiful items. And the staff is always so friendly and helpful. We will use Home at Merriment for all of our design and home decor needs.

I discovered Merriment Adornments after meeting the owner- Sarah- at fashion week event. She invited me to the shop and the two times that I have been there I have been greeted by lovely sales associates and gorgeous things to shop! This store has all the makes of a beautiful life i'd say. Its more than just interiors, but also jewelry, fashion and gifts! Stop here if you simply are looking for unique items!
