Horrible store. Staff was working really hard at not working. I counted four employees in the store. When I walked in, I was the only customer and couldn’t get anyone to acknowledge or help me. I stood at the counter and tried to get two staff members to help me but they were very busy talking to each other. Just an overall bad customer experience.

Mary quickly found many wallpaper books in line with the style we were looking for. Samples are also available to order.

This is by far the worst customer service I have received at a Hirshfields. I walked into the store with all but 1 other customer present inside. I continued to wait for about 15 minutes at the counter with out being acknowledged even once by the staff, which included a woman named Mary and a young gal. There was not even a “sorry we will be with you in a moment” to acknowledge if they were busy (which they weren’t). This was after walking past me at the counter several times. Please train your employees on proper customer service skills and social etiquette and you will have happier customers.

We loved working with Dawn! She did an amazing job listening to our wants and needs when picking out our window treatments for our house. Dawn was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. We are so pleased with our Hunter Douglas blinds. Thanks so much!

The staff there was helpful, you can tell that they are experienced in their field, they helped me find the bright blue paint that I was looking for to brighten up my space

I went in today and asked for a color match for a Farrow & Ball paint color. I was told it couldn't be done - because they couldn't match it exactly. I said I just wanted them to get a close as they could - I just wanted a sample...just to get an idea. He said they couldn't do it. I told him the Eden Prairie store has provided samples. Home Depot will color match. He then changed his mind and said he would match it but I would have to buy a quart ($25-$27) because he couldn't match it in a sample size - only the quart size. He said if I wanted that color I should buy the F&B paint. WTF. Who says stuff like that?? I find it interesting that although their website says they can match leaves, grass or basically anything...they can't match a paint chip - a paint chip that is located in their store. Be warned...even though their website states they will match anything - and every other paint store in the state will color match and provide a sample - if you get the wrong person (guy with beard) at this store you are SOL.

Hirshfields Wayzata is more than a paint store. This store offers extensive decorating supplies and good advice from their friendly staff. The color matching services are spot too.

Checked on paint left there for a match. All the guy could tell me is “I don’t know if it’s ready. “Couldn’t find out and said there was no one in the store who could find out!Not quite sure what to do?

This place is a disaster. I understand the needs for patience and consideration during the pandemic. However, I Google the store and it says they are open. t ButIBut am questioning whether that is accurate or not because I don't know how often Google updates store hours to account for the pandemic. Perhaps I should just call? So I did that.....and it rang forever without even getting a voicemail telling the store hours like 99% of other businesses. Well if Google says you're open until 7pm and nobody's answering... it must be because they are busy helping all all of their customers, so just drive to the store right? So I drive to the store....pull up and the place is completely closed down with a sign says YES WE ARE OPEN! . We are Happy to See You. Please come in. Get your act together and at least try to give off the impression that somebody older than a 5th grader is running the store. That takes common sense and consideration whichawhich has nothing to do with the difficulties of the pandemic. Is updating store hours on Google or flipping a sign when you are ACTUALLY closed or having a phone that connects to voicemail with store hours asking too much? That seems like business 101 type stuff. From what I've seen online, I probably should not be surprised. It seems like an issue of incompetence and poor customer service that goes back many years. What a shame.

Had so much help finding the perfect shade for my living room from the new general manager. It looks amazing and the quality is great. Jon was very helpful and was available throughout the process.
