I signed my dad and I up for Fly Fishing 101 classes and we had an awesome time.! Eric and Patsy were super knowledgeable and very patient. They made the lesson fun and enjoyable. There was also snacks and a drink cooler, it felt very well planned and put together. Super stoked for fly fishing 201.!! Highly recommend signing up for the classes, if for anything just to get out and learn something new.!

Lots of clothes to buy for the store. Men's and women's. Smaller selection for fly tying materials and equipment. The staff is really friendly. They talked about a free flying session on the weekend. Does have a small section for sales clothes.

I've only been fly fishing since summer of 2022. This is my go to local store to replenish my flies, tipit & indicators along w/ accessories, reels & rods as needed. I also come in w/ questions about my recent fishing and get solid advice as needed. I fish twice a week on the Rush when it was open and now a couple MN State Parks post main season. Julia, Aaron, Peter and young Aaron are all great! I love fly fishing!

I just got back from a trip to CO with friends who tried to teach me how to fly fish. This Orvis location is a couple blocks from my house and I thought a gift card would be a perfect thank you gift. Orvis has a gazillion retail locations across the US plus online shopping, so it felt like a safe choice. As I walked in, it still has that new-store smell. (It replaced the Dairy Queen that closed a couple years ago.) I was immediately welcomed by Will. As I scanned the store, it looked like a nice variety of options. At the counter, the store manager was chatting with another customer about fly fishing.

Should be called "fishing themed boutique" rather than fishing store. Good for finding high-end gifts or if you're OK with spending rent on basic equipment

The folks at Orvis were so helpful. The ladies who were assisting us (Diane and Terri? I think?) were extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond. We were looking for a couple of gifts and they helped us find exactly what we were looking for, plus a couple more things. It was one of the best shopping experiences I’ve had at an outdoor store.Also very cool to see the fly-tying classes! We’ll definitely be back for one!
