Patrick Hamilton from this location has multiple felonies for theft by swindle and the owner allows him to continue his scams at this location as well. At one point in 2018 there were well over a half a dozen victims that had gone to the St Louis Park police. Unfortunately, many of these cases are hard to get criminal charges. Buyer beware.

I was pumping gas and REALLY had to go number 2 (coffee kicked in) and went into to see bathrooms were closed but i asked and they let me go!!!! I'll be brining my car in next time its in need of repair!!

I tried this shop to do some work on my 2006 Porsche. They diagnosed the issue and offered a quick appointment and did the work with precision. The communication was great. I will go back as I trust their expertise. Good to find and good shop

Excellent neighborhood auto repair shop. I have been going to Automotion for all my car repair needs for years! Patrick and Brent are always friendly, professional and go above and beyond to take care of whatever repairs my car needs, or just to answer questions that I have about my vehicles. Thee employees (Patrick et al) at Automotion are STELLAR!! We have used them for the past few years and have always been blown away by their kindness, promptness, availability and affordability. Truly top notch folks and we will miss them dearly now that we moved to Austin. Can you relocate them here?? But seriously, just before moving we needed our Acura to get hooked up with electrical wiring for the hitch within a few hours AND THEY CAME THROUGH, even thew in a free ball hitch to attach. Simply amazing!

I had some work done here about 4 months ago. I had scheduled to get my down pipes done by another shop but they messed up and gave my reservation to someone else. Patrick came to the rescue and did an amazing job on my BMW. Great guy and knows what he's doing.

Being new to Minneapolis meant having to find a new mechanic to work on our BMW and Mercedes. In 3 years, we haven’t been impressed with what we’ve found until last week when I was sitting at the stoplight of France and Excelsior and I noticed Automotion. All this time I thought it was just a gas station. I stopped in for gas and decided to ask about a simple door handle issue on one of the cars and Patrick blew me away with his eagerness to stop what he was doing and explain the simple fix needed. I then asked him about our BMW and there was nothing but positivity that came from the time of discussing bringing the car in until when I picked the car up yesterday. Honest and mechanic usually isn’t referenced in the same sentence, but Patrick blew us away. He has so much knowledge of foreign cars and can explain it in such simple terms to where anyone could understand to some degree what he’s talking about. His customer service, above and beyond attitude, and friendly personality are a bonus on his expertise. He genuinely cares about his customers and their pockets because the rates and his honesty are far superior to the dealership and other local shops. An extra kudos is that not only did he do all of the above, but he went a step further and cleaned under the hood to perfection! Such a wow factor!
