I just had surgery 5 days ago. I went to pick up a prescription that I am about to run out of. I checked online to see the status, as generally, they are pretty quick. It was sent in around 9am from the Dr and it was now around 5:30pm. Checking online showed no status available, so I went in.
The lady that helped me, said it was an over the counter med (it’s not). She showed me where it was (but it wasn’t there because it’s not over the counter). She asked the mg of the prescription and I showed her the prescription on mychart. She said, and I quote, “that doesn’t exist.”
Yes it does. “No, that dosage doesn’t exist”. Yes it does. I have some from the hospital pharmacy. “Then go pick it up there.” Now, I get being lazy, but holy buckets. I think the correct phrase she was looking for was “I’m not familiar with this, let me check/ask someone.”
I’m moving all of my prescriptions to a different pharmacy.

The hell you have to go through just to get your rx filled. Why is it when your Dr gives you a rx and the insurance approved it , why they think it’s there business on when to fill it. My Dr wouldn’t have given it to me if I didn’t need it.

This is my 2nd terrible experience in the last week. First, was with a very rude pharmacy technician making it near impossible to try and help transfer a prescription for my daughter. Was so rude over the phone, I couldn’t even get a word in without her cutting me off.Tonight, as I was trying to pay for photo prints, we had a very sweet and helpful cashier. She had asked her manager for help entering a coupon. The manager could not be bothered to help. Was extremely rude to the employee, and to myself. She left the register without acknowledging me, and told her employee she was not going to help her figure it out. Definitely not someone who should be working in customer service, let alone be labeled as a “manager” in charge of other employees. I have been a customer at Sauk Rapids Walgreen’s for over 15 years. Overall not impressed with our service this week, and will likely be taking my business elsewhere.

Brought my disposable camera there 2 weeks ago and haven’t gotten a word on when it will be ready. I’ve called and never been taken off hold and the one time they did answer the lady was rude and not helpful. Do not go here for any photo services. It will not get done in a timely manner and customer service is awful.

They can't keep employees so don't expect your prescription for 3 days. And they can be rude in the RX area.

Managers are rude and not helpful to customers. They treat you like you are putting them out. Will look else where to spend my money at.

Fast service for prescriptions, great crafts. Love looking at the toys and stuffed animals. Decent animal and beauty sections, cheap foods and snack selections.

Have consistent issues with walgreens. Most common problem is prescriptions saying they're ready but aren't. For example, one day the app showed medicine was ready for pickup. I called to verify a 2nd time and they said to give them 30 min (so it wasn't ready). When I got to the pharmacy about 45 min later, they said it would be another 30 minutes from there. This is a reoccurring issue and happens nearly every time a pickup is needed. I've wasted gas and time driving back and forth. I also help my mother to pick up her prescriptions, and same story. We are both switching to coborns pharmacy instead.
