My Fiance and I stayed here a few weekends ago, and we both agree that it was hands down the best B&B we have ever stayed at! The whole home is a beautiful craftsman, that is just stuffed to the brim with different antiques and knick-knacks and other goodies that really bring the place to life. Each room is also beautiful in its own right, but Carla is really the best part of the B&B. Her knowledge of the area, her amazing cooking, her stories and of course her dog, Holly, really make this place special. If you ever come to St. Paul and need a place to stay, look no further.- Jacob and Katie

The lodgings were nice and the place has a homey feel. My only real complaint is that the breakfast seems to be what is in season and what the proprietor feels like making. On their website it seems like they have pictures of a range of delicious looking breakfasts from waffles to quiche, so I assumed it was a menu type of thing. I was little disappointed when the propreitor didn't give us a choice. That being said the food was delicious. It would have been done if their website mentioned that the food is based on either request or the proprietor's whim. Also their mobile site seems to be broken.

We got in late, a glass of wine was,quickly poured. Great conversation revealing curious conincedances. Breakfast was beautiful and more great conversations. Room was perfact. I didn't want to leave.

Surprisingly enough Como Lake B&B was actually my second choice for a place to stay and romance my wife, but my first B&B option was fully booked. And I’m glad it turned out this way! Carla is extremely hospitable and the place feels relaxing; like staying with a family member. I booked the lakeside room and the view did not disappoint. Beautiful hearty breakfast and coffee every morning. Peaceful area to explore and sit out on the patio. Would absolutely stay here again.Safety: Extremely safe neighborhood. Never heard sirens or people out late night.Walkability: Extremely walkable. Directly across the street from a beautiful lake with path. Also nearby some shops, restaurants, and a zoo with conservatory

A a very nice bed and breakfast in the cities. Carla and Lenny, both accommodating. Enchanting charms and, lots of space. Comes with Kitchen, a lake view, and porch. All close to the cities. I would highly recommend staying here a night or two. Thank you for accommodating me and my crew. What a charming place that feels like a home away from home. Lenny is the best dog on set that, I could work with. He was very professional as well as his owner. [;

We had a wonderful stay at the B&B while visiting our friends in St. Paul. Carla is an excellent host (and chef), and it's a beautiful house in a pristine location.

Very seldom do we get a chance to travel, but when we do, where do we stay? Why another bed and breakfast of course, and this one was amazing! From the location, right up the road from the Como Conservatory, close to restaurants, and surrounded by beautiful architecture, to the wonderful breakfasts and conversation. Carla is delightful! She has lived there for years and knows so much about the local area and we were wowed with her culinary talent. We will be back!

My husband and I stayed here for an impromptu, COVID-safe Babymoon. We loved the privacy of the top floor suite, felt completely spoiled by the fancy breakfasts, and had a wonderful time. The double whirlpool tub was definitely a highlight!

A magical and truly comforting experience! The entire place is gorgeous and decorated with a beautifully curated eye. There's an enchanting garden in front and it's only a few steps from lake Como. Carla is a warm and gracious host. All the little touches and extras in the rooms make you feel cared for and special. I loved all the antique books and quilts!

Excellent BNB. Host was very friendly and inviting, the house was clean and well taken care of. My husband and I stayed in the top room, which is the full top floor. We had a large bedroom, large bathroom, living space, and sitting room all to ourselves. Breakfast was delicious!
