The one on the floor was $699.“Might have one in the basement.”Brand new, older model, but the same 12 x 12 size and shape.“Don’t have a heart attack,” he said.“Huh?” I thought it would be a just few bucks cheaper than the newer model.$67. Yeah. The decimal is right.An early Fathers Day, birthday and Christmas for me.Wow wow wow… I ❤️ Hoigaards.

Had the best experience at hoigaards today when I went in to get my first pair of ski boots. They took their time and fitted my feet and picked out the best boots for me. Will definitely return for other ski gear in the future!

What is it with the front-desk staff that always makes me feel unwelcome and guilty for visiting the shop? 12 year neighbor and still the same feeling. Nothing like the treatment me and my family receive when visiting REI, Joe’s, Gear West, Pioneer Midwest, among others.

I have an older pair of nordic skate boots that had a broken rivet at the ankle brace. Hate to throw things away and other shops wanted to help but just didn't know what to do. Enter (I believe) Chris from the Nordic dept and within 10 min had a creative solution and sent me on my way. I am now a raving fan of Hoigaard's!!

I went to purchase new ski boots. I waited a tiny bit because I went on a busy weekend, which is not surprising. The customer service was great. They asked me all the right questions, really listened to what I was looking for and my ski level.

John & Jeff in the skis and boots department were an excellent source of knowledge and the absolute best customer service. I like getting knowledge along the way & these guys shared their expertise & made my last experience at Hoigaards remarkable. They now have me as a customer for life.

Awesome customer service! Bought a pair of ski boots here. Lots of shoes don’t fit me well so I am grateful that my salesperson took the time to try all the boots in my size, and that additional boot fitting is included in the price. The fitting guy John can do all kinds of things to mold the boot and was obsessed with getting the exact right fit. It’s so great to have boots that fit right.Also, I was looking for a ski bag, they had a nice hard-sided one that would have fit in my little car off the shelf (collapsed). But he went the extra mile let me borrow a pair of skis to see how big the bag is fully loaded and carried it to my car. Unfortunately it did not fit, but I appreciate that he tried to make sure I get the right bag for my situation and saved me from having to return it or call an Uber XL every time I want to use my ski bag.

Great store with experienced team members that know about the products they are selling. I always go back to Hoigaard's for skis and gear and always find good selection and great service there. They have the brands I like, Kjus, Norrona, Canada Goose, Look.... Highly recommended! Thanks John for your help the other day as well! Really appreciated your help!

The guys in the ski shop saved me today. I leave for a ski trip in the morning and as I gather my ski stuff I realize my skis are in rough shape. I didn’t think there was any chance I could get them serviced in time but the guys in the ski service were empathetic and got to my skis in right away. 1.5 hours later they were ready for pick up, they look amazing, and now I’m ready for the mountain!! I’m so grateful and will be back anytime I need anything ski related from now on!! Highly recommend

I’m the reviewer that posts only when an establishment hits an “extreme.” Could be that I had an extremely good experience or an extremely bad experience. Well, let me tell you I had the most amazing experience at Hoigaard’s! Joseph and Chris in the snowboard and ski areas were absolutely the most kind, patient, and helpful people we could have hoped for. We are new to the ski world and another review I read said that this was the place to go if you were new to skiing and needed education/direction. That review was spot on, and I am so thankful we made the trip. Thank you Chris and Joseph for helping us find exactly what we needed to make our first adventures into skiing ones that will be successful and enjoyable. Y’all deserve every imaginable accolade one could think to speak!

I came in to look into buying skis after renting for years. I didn’t know what to expect coming in. Vernon assisted me in education on the different types of skis, boots, binding, poles and even inserts for my feet. I was able to be fitted and left with a great pair of skis! Thanks for the amazing and kind service and taking the time to explain everything while making it a pressure free process. If you need help buying skis for the first time this is a great place to stop!

I don't recommend Hoigaards for ski tuning services. They damaged one of my skis during their tuning process and wouldn't accept responsibility. The ski didn't have the damage when it was dropped off. I'd recommend going to the other ski shops.
