“Aldi was already the best grocery store to shop at if you want to walk away feeling like you've somehow stolen half of your groceries. So inexpensive, and fun rotating elements of food and decor. I purchased a LAWN MOWER at Aldi, and it still runs great. I love this place when I want to buy something like cereal, but I don't want to spend $4.50 a box. I want to spend half that. This is the antithesis of Costco, where 3 items run you $100, and instead you want 40 items for $60. It's crazy.It is especially fantastic now that they have self-checkout! So fast and easy, and no waiting for a cashier if I only want to restock my 8 boxes of Lucky Charms; *excuse me* "Marshmallows & Stars", which are equally as delicious. Don't delay; grab a quarter for the cart, and go explore. It's fantastic!”

“I love this store. I can find good deals even when the economy is taking a dump. My favorite foods; Fruit, Grapes and Strawberries they're always my favorites. And the chocolate bars. Not to complain about Hershey chocolate But... The Dark chocolate, white chocolate, coconut, almond, and toffee bars are to die for. Oh my gosh, as I enter the store, my cart goes directly to the source of happy sweetness. ❤️? I never leave with just one bar.”

“Raymond B. on 4/1 was friendly and polite. After he told me my total, I realized I didn't have enough on my debit card and I didn't have another option to cover the remaining balance. I felt so bad about taking extra time as a line had started forming behind me. Raymond was all positivity however and directed me to the customer service desk to void out enough items so that I could finish my transaction with Jo Ann. After a few minutes, Raymond surprised me by coming back up to us, handing Jo Ann his own card and telling her to put the items back in my bags. i am so grateful to him and HY-VEE. i hadn't been having a very good day and he completely turned it around for me. Thank you Ray!!”

“Made an appointment online for a covid shot. Went in the next day and had to wait 10 minutes for them to get the vaccine ready. The pharmacist injected me, and I was out the door.”

“I cannot say enough nice things about Hy-Vee's staff. I recently threw a bridal shower for my daughter. The Hy-Vee bakery did the cupcakes, and the floral department did a beautiful red roses arrangement and also blew up balloons that I purchased elsewhere. The cupcakes- wow- were of course delicious- and GORGEOUS- just what I ordered- I got a variety with pink and white frosting- and I also dropped off specific cupcake toppers that the bakery staff said they would put on the cupcakes for me. The cupcakes were almost too pretty to eat. They loaded them in an easy-to-carry box, that fit the cupcakes perfectly. Brande from the floral department and her team are AMAZING. I am sure she's happy the shower is over because I made multiple trips to Hy-Vee to talk to her about the party- and what I needed or would like (I even showed her pictures). She assured me that she would take care of everything- and make my daughter's special day just how we want it. BUT she did sooo much more. She added something special to the roses arrangement (without charging me extra) and she blew up so many balloons (even some confetti balloons- that are difficult to actually blow up and make them look like the "picture" but she did!)- she even gave me suggestions on how I could arrange them at the party (the word BRIDE hanging with a string- she showed me how to string the letters together), 2 balloon bouquets on the floor by the cupcake and gift tables. She gave me sticky tabs to help with some decorative curtains that were in this party kit I purchased- which worked AMAZING- Thank you BRANDE. She even had the balloons bagged so it was easy to transport them. She asked her colleague to help me out to the car. She was the sweetest young girl. We were asked by another Hy-Vee employee if we needed help on the way out (We kindly declined the offer, we had it covered). She even buckled in the roses to secure them. I was so thrilled, relieved, and beyond happy with how everything turned out and so surprised with how unbelievably friendly everyone was- it meant the world to me, as planning this party was very stressful. I gave the young girl a hug goodbye- and thanked her so much for all her help. I love you Hy-Vee and all your friendly staff/smile in every aisle.”

“I've been shopping exclusively through Hy-vee aisles online since Covid. After that on my regular one at Barlow's I continued to go to the W. Circle Dr. one I had bad luck every time stuff not being in stock. After almost giving up, I try the 37th St. location. Boy am I ever glad I did. Tiana(sp?) and the rest of the staff there have been absolutely amazing. She's always got the best personality. She's always very friendly and kind and interacts with everybody in a very respectful way. I just appreciate her and the rest of the crew at the 37th St. Aisles online because they are absolutely amazing and you've earned a customer for life. The best thing ever is the food is always fresh and delicious and the lines are never too long so you don't have to wait but if you do, it's been a very nice part of the parking lot so you have some green trees and 37th St. to look at to keep you occupied if you have to wait. I would recommend them to anybody who's looking for a great place to order groceries. If you're looking for a great little gas station to their fast and fresh station is amazing they have some great deals, and the layout makes sense. The manager of that place was absolutely amazing. He was super kind and friendly answering any questions I had, and was especially kind to an older gentleman in front of me who is taking a little longer to complete his order.”
