“Dropped off my pickup to diagnose a steering problem and replace rear brakes. Steering issue was not resolved, but Galen did provide some insight on what I should do in the future.Brake parts were installed, but not adjusted. Galen handed me the keys after trying to set the parking brake without it working. He had to turn the vehicle off with it in gear to keep it from rolling away. After returning home I found excessive slack in the parking brake tensioning cable and removed the drums to inspect the brakes. The shoes were not making contact with the drum. After adjusting myself, the brakes were working properly. The ~$400 labor charge is a premium price for a sub-par service.This is my only experience with this shop. I chose this location based on reviews.Update: The shop refunded the entire invoiced amount. This was not the intention for the post, but it’s good to know my concerns are heard and considered. Rating has been updated to 4 starts. I’ll likely give them another shot.”

“These guys are great! Highly recommend calling them first! I was in Rochester from out of town. I was by myself. I had a hole in my radiator. These guys got me in the same day, found a new radiator and the next day replaced it. While they were doing that, they drove me back to my hotel so that I didn't have to wait there and then came and picked me up. The bill was more then reasonable.”

“Was rear ended last month- after submitting photos on the insurance site, and receiving an estimate and check (within 24 hours) I went to Caliber (previously Med City- same great staff) immediate service- the guy explained what needed to be done from here, and if more work was required, they’d work directly with Allstate- and asked if I needed a rental car- no. The work ended up double the estimate- no prob- all taken care of- updated and finished early- and clean! I don’t know about other places in Rochester, but these guys can’t be beat- thank you!! “My only experience with this repair shop was when I took my car here with several engine codes. The technicians tested a few parts, looked over the power train and determined that my car has an intercooler leak. They didn't charge for the diagnostics and recommended me back to the auto dealer. I think that's the first time in a long time I got the hometown auto shop experience in Rochester, true customer service and reliability. I would recommend this shop to anyone who wants a trustworthy and reliable technician working on their motor vehicle. If these folks can't fix it, they'll help you find who can. “My husband and I go to nobody else to get our cars taken care of. Customer service is top notch. We both love their shuttle service and Ben, the service manager, even helped out when the shuttle driver was a bit behind so I wouldn't be late to an appointment! He didn't have to do that at all and I was wondering if I would have to walk as the time got closer as it really wasn't too far. He saved me from a freezing cold walk which I appreciate!!! They were also up front about a slight issue with a part that would extend my day by several hours but were very quick once it did come in. Since i live out of town there wasnt much to be done, but their lounge is very comfortable and i just relaxed with a book. I'll always tell people to come here for any car service!”

Emily was extremely helpful from the moment I first called inquiring about a car that said in transit. She explained the process and answered all of our questions! We were skeptical about buying out of state but quickly learned that everyone was helpful and it was going to be so simple. We applied for financing online and got answers quickly. Emily kept us updated on vehicle status and when it arrived, she made sure it would be ready for us the next day. She continually updated us and when we arrived at the dealership, her bubbly personality greeted us. We felt very comfortable working with her and never felt pressured.
