“Twelve Vultures is such an amazing shop. I don't know what I love more, the uniquely curated assortment of wonder in every square inch of this place, or chatting with the knowledgeable and friendly owner. If you are interested in odd knickknacks or want a statement piece for your collection, this is the place.”

316 W 38th St, Minneapolis“LOVE this place! Such a beautiful curation of products and welcoming + warm experience. Not only does Amanda have an amazing eye for finding gems, she takes the time to understand your style + needs to provide thoughtful recommendations. I so appreciate this space in our community!”
“Most professional and reliable tailoring in Minneapolis. I've been using sewbiz for a decade and have always received the best tailoring for suits and casual clothing.”
“encore is incredibly well organized and you can find so many unique pieces. if you’re a teen/adolescent, i’d maybe recommend coming here. it’s pretty hit or miss but very doable to find banger statement pieces. additionally, encore has a discount system in which if an article of clothing has been on the racks for a certain amount of time, you can receive a 50% or 75% off. many of the pieces are carefully handpicked to ensure that customers only get the best of the best. the vintage section at the bottom of the store is totally worth checking out too even if you’re not just to vintage clothing! the owners are such lovely people and are incredibly helpful.”
“It's an excellent place to fix your clothing. I took my purse and down jacket (both had some zipper issues), and after that, another store wanted to overcharge me. The two young men working there were amiable, and they took a look at my down jacket and were able to fix the zipper in 5 minutes. As for my purse, I left it there for about a week, and they called me when it was ready to pick up. I was thrilled with the result, and the fees were very reasonable. I think it would be a good idea to repair the lair. Good job, and Thank you.Update as 03/2024:I used their service again recently. The rate has gone up, but it's understandable. I took a winter extra-long jacket to replace the zip. They were able to fix it in a few days. They have moved to a new location, but the service is still on the same stand. I recommend them.”
“Excellent shop with great ascetic and a wide assortment of antiques and vintage items like oil paintings, watercolors, lithographs, sketches, pottery, gardening related items, home decor, furniture, curio pieces, etc. There's something unique and vintage or handcrafted for various tastes and styles; lots of rarities and treasues to behold. Stop in to this shop next time you're in the area!”
“I've been looking for a credenza for media in the living room for months and MAD had several wonderful options that I could be sure were high quality and well restored. Doug was super friendly and easy to work with and even delivered this enormous piece of furniture to my second floor condo! I'm so happy with how this completes my space and will return to MAD for other piece I want to invest in for the long term.”
“Discovered this hidden treasure of a thrift store today! I love the concept the owners have created with this store. Bonus it was 50% anything with a Star today. Very passionate, friendly staff as well!”
11AM - 7PM
1817 Selby Ave, St Paul“We discovered some real gems at the Mall of St. Paul today! The store is massive, filled with a wide variety of genuine antiques. Whether you're into vintage furniture, collectibles, or other unique finds, this place has it all. The staff is incredibly friendly, and they take great care in packaging items securely for the trip home. Just a heads-up: if you're specifically looking for coins or currency, this might not be the spot for you. But if you're an antique enthusiast, this place is a must-visit. Make sure to plan at least an hour to explore everything they have to offer.”
12 - 5PM
4206 Cedar Ave, Minneapolis“The vibes in this store are immaculate! Their used records are also sorted which is a huge plus. Selection can be more on the pricier side in comparison to other thrift stores since it seems like they want to keep all of their stuff to look really cool. The person working was also friendly and let us browse the front without any issues. Overall a solid place to stop!”
11AM - 6PM
2852 Johnson St NE, Minneapolis“Loved the vibes of this place! Excellent earrings, clothing, hair clips, etc, especially for the alternative crowd. It is a bit pricey for a thrift store, but I think it’s worth it if you’re struggling to find what you like at the more common chain thrift stops.”
12 - 5PM
1433 W Lake St, Minneapolis“I really wanted to like it more, but the lack of sorting by size is ridiculous. I'm an XL and very few of their items fit and it's too much work finding anything.”
“Talk about a hole in the wall, a hidden gem, or a diamond in the rough! I love thrifting and checking out all the places to do so when visiting a new town. If I were to come back to the twin cities, I would be sure to stop into the Cat and the Cobra! Locating the store was a little harder than anticipated. It is in the back of the parking lot behind the locked door, but it is the first door inside the building. Not to mention the cool vibes and architecture of the building. I highly recommend walking around and checking it out. There was an amazing selection of any article of clothing you were looking for. I would say the majority of the items were typically priced. Some articles hanging were a little overpriced, but the best part was the bins in the back of the store! I found two shirts in the bins that were $5 each! It was a STEAL of a deal for vintage t-shirts in the condition they were in. I got one ESPN shirt and a Strigus 2006 shirt. Not to mention how fun it is to shift through bins to find those hidden gems of shirts. In addition to a more expensive rainforest cafe t-shirt that was hanging on the walls of shirts. Overall, the service, selection, and value of the store and its articles were top-tier for vintage thrift! I highly recommend stopping in!”
“My 99 year old father in law sells his Antique Treasures here almost all the sellers are who are the workers there they each work 2 days per month when selling goods at this store... so if you get a bad experience with a worker mostly they won't be in there the next time if you try them again! Most of the people selling in there are Antiques Themselves! Nice people and caring you can offer them less it never hurts to ask. It's Great they have this place to keep them busy and memories of times gone by”
“Awesome place for affordable vintage! Plenty of stuff to look through and very kind shop owner eager to share her store. Discounts and bargains are offered on a dime! Genuinely a hidden gem of a shop. Not too sure what the hair salon in the back is about but the products smelled pleasant when I was browsing clothes nearby.”
“I rarely walk out empty handed. A solid third of my vintage/thrifted heavy wardrobe made its way to me via Timebomb. I hit up lots of thrift stores and when I’m looking for something truly retro (maybe pre 2005?) it’s worth it to hit up a place with a more curated selection. Im so glad you exist!”
“Highly recommend the Pink Elephant. There are quite a few Vintage & Antique shops in Hopkins, but this is by far the best. Like other Yelpers have mentioned, super friendly and helpful staff. We were looking for vintage glassware for our bar and they pointed us in the right direction. They even offered to keep an eye out when new glassware items come in. Great place!”
“Overall this store had a nice selection of unique pieces, but the price range may be above the average persons. The largest size that had was a vintage XL (new Large). A nice, clean shop.”
“Fabulous vintage store with beautiful clothes and jewelry! The staff and owner are knowledgeable, welcoming and treat you like a friend. I highly recommend The Golden Pearl.”
“Beautiful space. New owner is so personable. OG staff is still around and lovely new additions. Shop is well organized with an array of brands and sizing. Highly recommend consigning and shopping here!!”
“OH MY GOSH! Stumbled up this cute place by accident. It is so eccentric and eclectic.
The way she has each area set up is so artistic and amazing. Everything is for sale.ans she has coffee in the kitchen.
Love the homemade lamp shades.”
“Order laundry detergent and bleach from here. The products literally saved old coverlets that had developed a putrid smell during storage. Brava to those products.”
11AM - 5PM
1587 Selby Ave, St Paul“I’ve been going to Lula’s for a long time. Her reputation in the city is unmatched. And not just for fab party dresses but she might put out a rack out of high-waisted wide-leg 70’s pants that you can't find anywhere else or a pair of 60's virgin wranglers to go with that cashmere coat or summer crop top. It always feels fresh and new when you walk in the store and you'll feel the same when you walk out.But the best part is Hayley. How could you not like someone named after Hayley Mills. Not only does she treat every garment with care and love, she treats all her customers the same.”
12 - 3PM
1589 Selby Ave, St Paul“Lovely selection of mid to late century "antiques". Very well curated. A great eye for style. A little bit of everything: furniture, art, kitch, and clothes!”
“My wife and I have shopped at Fashion Avenue in Edina for several years. They have a great selection and the pricing is fair. it's upscale quality merchandise and the people running the place are always nice to deal with.”
“Front of the store has some really great artwork, furniture, and lighting. Pricing system has regular markdowns so with a little patience and luck you could get a great deal.”
12 - 6PM
14150 Nicollet Ave, Burnsville“Amazing! They have EVERYTHING! I can shop with my 15 year old daughter, who loves this store too and for myself, a plus-size Mama Bear! The clothes are current, affordable, and organized. They also have dressing rooms, which a lot of thrift stores have done away with. I have never consigned with them, but I am definitely a huge fan. It is well worth the trip (we are about 35 min. away).”
“Probably my fave card shop in the metro. It's very cozy and welcoming. Huge variety of everything. I especially like the sit down area where you have plenty of elbow room to go through stuff, without feeling pressed to buy something or rush through the process. They are also very reasonable in negotiating prices of used items.”
“I like shopping secondhand for the environment and this store was really easy to navigate. I knew exactly what it is I wanted to find that day which can sometimes require trips to multiple stores, but I lucked out here. Again, it came to great organizing for how the shop is set up. I'll definitely visit again when I need to replace a clothing item.”
