Having used Owatonna Veterinary Hospital for over a decade, we wouldn't switch. Staff is skilled, caring and knowledgeable. I've known Dr. Gute since the 1970s--he's remarkable and I trust him 100% with my fur babies. Dr. Bauer is dedicated, compassionate and hard-working. Both doctors truly love critters and it shows.

I went in for my dog Baxter 4 times for his infected ear. Pretty basic! They charged me every time.

Took our cat for rabies shot he used to be a stray rescued as a baby! And we have recently took in another one, we scheduled an appointment for him and we have asked to make another for the new kitten, and all the doc said was well were gonna give him a wellness shot instead, since a new stray cat is at the house and as well as he assumed they have worms! Both my cats are extremely healthy! Ones of is a 10lb cat the ideal weight for him, after he did his "profesional view" he started to throw up all of his food, his left eyes WAS CLOSED FOR 3 DAYS! he was crying and had to get neutered on Monday we took him to bloomingpraire and they gave him ALL of his shots, and during the whole neutered procedure they have said that my cat is acting really weird, his head was shaking, he couldn't walk straight, all I have to say is that, this clinic is not what they seem to be I am no longer taking any of my animals to them anymore, he tried to kill money out of my girlfriend and me he said they have to make "SEVERAL VISITS AND SHOTS" anyways bloominpraire did an amazing job they treated him before the operation and he was back to his normal self within two days, and neutered and is all caught up with vaccine's, to make the story short DO NOT TRUST THEM.

Felt very rushed, in and out. Dr. Gave some horrible advice including some that could actually have killed my cat if I would have followed it. Honestly only positive experience was how the vet techs and front desk staff treated my cat. Sadly I'd recommend elsewhere.

Several years ago we had a house fire. On just seconds, the situation went from "do you smell smoke?" to all of us outside waiting for the fire dept while smoke is bellowing out of our house. Everyone was safe except our two cats. I thought they had run out of the house out of fear. We came back to the house later that day to find them huddled together weezing. I called Dr. Krumm to see what we could do. I was hysterical. OVS took in our cats and placed them on oxygen. We didn't know if they would make it through the night. Despite the strong campfire odor that lingered for da my the OVS team kept both cats for 2 weeks where they made a full recovery. OVS not only took in our pets, they cared for them keeping us updated every step of the way. I will always recommend them as they have a special place in our hearts.

✨️Best vet I've ever been to.✨️ Last year, Dr. Krumm and his staff helped us in an emergency situation even though they were technically closed and our dog wasn't even a patient of his. You can feel the love this staff has for all the animals they see (even if your pet is kinda sassy). The receptionist is a delight and the vet techs are knowledgeable and compassionate. Dr. Krumm gives you straightforward, clear information and answers all of your questions. Additionally, the pricing is incredibly fair. My dog has a somewhat nervous temperament but she always gets excited to go see her friends at the vet. This place is the best vet in town.

I will no longer be bringing my pet here. He had me coming in every two weeks and prescribing new meds each time for her ear, (and I later found out that one of the meds caused MORE pain for her) and never helped her ear problem. He repeatedly told me that she has an excess ear wax problem due to her getting older...ummm she's 5. Not the case. I took her to a new vet and they told me immediately that the pollup, not sure of the correct spelling, was causing her the pain and discomfort and needed to he removed asap. Hs also said that my poor girl was so uncomfortableshe was miserable. Needless to say I wasted so much time and money at this vet and was lied to about her condition.I love the vet techs here and will miss them but the main vet needs to change.

I love this place, they have educated staff that Love what they do. Dr. Krumm is a very passionate man that cares for animals too, I got a new dog and she had a long history of surgeries and when we got to our appointment, it took longer then usual. In my head I was like what the Hell is taking so long, feels like I'm see my own Damm doctor. The reason it took so long was because he took his time to read all of her history that I've given them. He told me he read her whole history. I was shocked ?. I said to him sorry you read her Bible. LOL. But please bring your pets here, they care and you won't regret it, they also take care of my other dogs too. Thank You for wonderful work.

I was confronted about my "tone" mind you I was only worried about my injured cat who was bleeding from his head. then a second lady told me to find a different clinic and hang up on me because I was frustrated I wasn't allowed to bring my injured cat to get the help he is in need of.
