Doug stands behind his products and is a super nice guy. I bought a washer and dryer, the dryer made banging sounds and he had a new one at my place in under three hours! Great service!

I called Cindi at Rigels about a serious water line leak from our ice-maker.Within a few hours, John and Cameron arrived to fix our problem. They did a great job and were done quickly. We were so happy it got handled quickly to avoid further damage. Thank you so much, Max, Cindi and the Rigels service team!Neal and Kelly Haaland

Thank you to Troy and Wayne for excellent delivery of a new dryer, and removing the old dryer. They were polite, friendly and professional. They maneuvered through doorways and stairs cleverly and carefully. I don't remember the name of the salesperson I spoke with on the phone, but also was excellent and helpful. We have patronized Rigels for many years. They have continuously been our favorite appliance store. Buy local!

Purchased a washing machine from Rigel's in Dec. 21. It has been nothing but problems. When we would call in, the service people would say "oh that's just how newer machines run" - really? With a loud clanking sound? Had service out 3 times. Finally got them to replace the inner basket because it was rusted after 3 months of use. The guy who came out was there for 2 hours, left, brought another guy with him. I'm not even sure they replaced it because we noticed rust again within the week. Got sick of calling and went into the store. They said I needed to contact GE and were very rude to us. One of the service people said we obviously have rusty water. We do not. Contacted GE and the only thing GE did was offer a $100 discount on a new machine. Um, no thanks. Trying to work with Jamie now and he is either rude or never returns phone calls. He said he would contact GE this last Monday, called today and no one has contacted them yet. My machine is currently broken, rusted, leaking oil, and is only a year and a half year old. I will never shop at Rigel's again or purchase any GE products.

We purchased and had a new dishwasher installed right before Easter. Used it 3 times and then there was standing water in our “new dishwasher” so a service tech came out and said the pump had went out, apparently packaging had not been fully removed from around it causing it to burn out. Flash forward a week and an half(after them not even entering a work order to begin with to get a new part ordered) and the service manager Jamie telling me he would give us a $60.00 credit due to the continued inconvenience and would send us an updated invoice) a tech finally came to install the new pump. I called several more times the beginning of May, leaving messages for Jamie and he never returned my calls. I was wondering where the new invoice was and even spoke to another employee, Casey, who assured me he would get Jamie to take care of it…. Finally we received a new invoice yesterday only to discover they had the nerve to now charge us a finance charge for a delay on their part. We have always loved Rigels appliances and service but we are so disappointed in how this situation has been handled and we will not be doing business with them again.

Ease of buying online was made easier once I got to talk to a salesman on the phone. He was not pushy or up sale me. Delivery team was awesome. Showed up and removed and installed the new washer. Friendly and helpful and fast. Our go to store for appliances.

They don’t stand behind their products.Unfortunately they sell very cheaply made products. When the appliance breaks in about year, days after the warranty expires, they charge you $175 again for looking atIt for 5 min and tell its more to fix than buy brand new. Don’t waste your money here. You’ve been warned.

Had good experience when we purchased appliances, however recently we had a fan go out on our refrigerator on a Sunday. Called on Monday and they said they would be out Thursday, Thursday came and went with a no show no call. Called on Friday and they said they only service our area on Wednesdays and rescheduled us. The next Tuesday we called and they didn't have us on their list. Will be going elsewhere for appliances and service from here on out.

The nepotism that keeps Bob as the service manager is detrimental to their business. In 30 years of customer service and sales. I have never experienced a more entitled and insufferable personality in any industry. He is not only rude, short, and dismissive. His competency for getting work done matches his personality, just totally miserable. Doesn't return calls, argues, loses parts orders, talks down to people. Skirts ownership of mishaps by blaming other employees for his failures. His desk and space is an absolute mess, it is no wonder it all gets lost. It's sad that a F-M institution such as they are will meet their demise not because of the big box store, but due to their own ineptitude. I will never buy a product from them again. Sad that it will have to be delivered from Minneapolis instead of supporting local.

Ever since we Moved to Fargo 50 years ago we've bought all our major appliances at Rigel's partially because their service and repair is so good. Recently, the control board on our GE range acted up. I called Rigel's and was surprised that the service call would be $160 and a replacement board (w/installation) could cost $400-$500 which would include the service call cost. Since the range was almost 20 years old, we bought a new one. Unfortunately, no trade-in was allowed. Our old range was in very good condition and I'm sure it will be repaired and resold as used.

I was initially upset because I was double billed for installation I already paid for several months ago prior to installation, but this was clarified as a mistake after talking to their billing department.

Our refrigerator wasn't working correctly. I contacted Rigels for service. I was told it could be a week, but they would put us on a call list and come earlier if they could. They called the very next day and came out to see what was wrong. They had the part and now our fridge is working perfectly. Then a couple days later our washing machine wasn't working correctly. Again I called Rigels. They came out the very next day to check out our washing machine. They determined there was nothing wrong with the washing machine. It was a plumbing issue, for some reason we were not getting hot water in the laundry room. If we used only cold water the washer worked fine. We appreciated the prompt response we received from Rigels.
