Had what I needed and close by. No complaints for a local area liquor store

They close at 4 on Sundays and 8 every other day. Not happy about the hours. Also, I really don't like how they watch you when you come in as if you are up to something. I know I don't look like a criminal, besides I earn a fairly decent wage....ijs...they are local so I use it

Easy in and out liquor store if there's a parking spot. Not much in the way of customer service but if you don't need it it is fine and has a large selection of wine.

Great neighborhood liquor store in the uptown/lakes area of south Minneapolis. Remodeled store and great wine selection. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

They're open when they want to be, not when their community needs them. They close 2 hours before every other single liquor store in Minneapolis and you'll always see people trying to patronize them to their closed doors. I've been in the store when they "called it" and closed even earlier than 8 or 4 on Sundays. Don't you people like money? Not mine, I guess. I am done.

Worth the trip! This is a store that identifies with the eclectic uptown community, while also being the best Twin Cities location to purchase premium wine, champaign, and liquor. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, taking a more artisanal than one can expect from the "wherehouse" stores.

Extremely rude lady working tonight. Some one should teach her some customer service skills.Literally turning paying customers away.

Before Uptown changed from a quirky neighborhood that Dinkytown dwellers moved to after they graduated to its current hellhole, this place served as a convenient, if cramped, shop to get a good deal on liquor and where you could find a surprising range of products for its size. Hennepin is a very blue county now, which means rampant street crime as the thugs know there will be no real consequences for their actions (that would be racist) and liquor stores tend to be ground zero for violence. An easy alternative is Lake Wine and Spirits just a mile east, very open and spacious and has managed to somehow stay classy despite its Lake Street location.

Lacking selection of smirnoff, mikes hard lemonade, and wine coolers of that sort. Good stock of beer. Mini liquor bottles are the best. I recommended this place for the service they pulled from the back of the store for me. Cashier asks for ID, and if your quick they are friendly to customers. Descide what you want before you go in and they direct you precisely where your goods are in isle. Don't forget a tip or give extra change for thier efforts. Great store. They bag well too. Enjoy shopping!
