“It's an excellent place to fix your clothing. I took my purse and down jacket (both had some zipper issues), and after that, another store wanted to overcharge me. The two young men working there were amiable, and they took a look at my down jacket and were able to fix the zipper in 5 minutes. As for my purse, I left it there for about a week, and they called me when it was ready to pick up. I was thrilled with the result, and the fees were very reasonable. I think it would be a good idea to repair the lair. Good job, and Thank you.Update as 03/2024:I used their service again recently. The rate has gone up, but it's understandable. I took a winter extra-long jacket to replace the zip. They were able to fix it in a few days. They have moved to a new location, but the service is still on the same stand. I recommend them.”

“I always love stopping at A Bag Lady in NE Minneapolis. The shop is small but packed full of beautiful purses, clothes, hats, jewelry & shoes. They have some really out there items that are fun & unique along with more trendy everyday wear items. The owner also color coordinates each section of the store which is awesome if you are looking for specific colors. Perfect place to shop for yourself, for a gift, jewelry for your big special day or if you are looking for something to wear for a special occasion. Everything is priced very reasonable.”

“Love this place! As an AMAB person (who also presents as male) interested in drag, shopping for women's clothing & accessories can be a bit intimidating. However, the owner was so nice and accommodating. He welcomed me into the store and made me feel comfortable. I didn't feel judged whatsoever. I really liked the fact that they have an AMAZING selection of heels, especially since I needed a size 12 in heels, and they had many options. Many people had recommended I go to Bondesque, but they did not have the selection that Venus has, and Venus's prices are also better. I'm so glad I saw Venus next door and decided to go in. I'd choose this store any day over Bondesque. Oh and in regards to people complaining about the parking, well, it's a small business off of lake street in uptown, so what do you expect? There's free parking on side streets nearby, otherwise look for a metered spot and go during a time of day with less traffic. I highly recommend this store!”
