I like vison works and all but when calling to check on my glasses tht stupid robot don't ever transfer me to a person to talk to cuz the robot don't understand n it's annoying tht I can't ever get through to someone to talk to honestly there should be a button to push to talk to a real person not a robot

I was hesitant of doing a partial telehealth engagement in the store, but I understand this is the way many things are going. Alyssa did great explaining each test and was very personable. She even answered questions from my 9 year old son while he was with me during my eye exam. The online tech was easy to work with, and the eye doctor was attentive and responsive to my questions. Lastly, the gentleman helping me order my contacts was extremely helpful. The whole team was fantastic, I received the updated prescription I needed couldn't have had a better experience! I was surprised at how well the process went, and actually felt like I received more attention from a team of specialists than I have ever had for an eye exam.

I showed up for my appointment that starts in 15 minutes and was told they were closing early and hadn’t called to let me know my appointment was canceled. It was the last day of my vision insurance coverage from my previous job so I couldn’t reschedule. I even got a text earlier today confirming my appointment and I filled out my insurance information through the link they sent. Not happy with them.

I was very happy with the assistance in choosing my glasses and the persistence of the sales associate to attach my coupon to my purchase, to include three pairs of glasses, as allowed by the coupon, but the system was being difficult. I found this sales associate/manager, incredibly helpful and was able to watch as she engaged in a teaching moment with her staff using the strengths approach right in the moment expressing praise.

BEWARE--BEWARE!!!I posted the following review after a less than successful experience at Visionworks. I received a response from Visionworks stating I should send my contact information so they could look into the situation, which I promptly did. That was over 4 weeks ago, and I have heard nothing. Very good Customer Service Department (ha). I guess that is what I can expect from a substandard extablishment. Consumers beware of this establishment--They certainly do not want to resolve my issue!!! I will not be patronizing their establishment any longer. I wish I had read more reviews regarding other people being unsatisfied before I walked thru their doors. RUN do not walk away form here!!Unprofessional comedy of errors!!I purchased a pair of glasses from VisionWorks in the Mankato River Hills Mall, and have an unresolved horror story to tell.My story starts with the typical eye examination. In this case, the arrogant eye doctor dilated my pupils without consulting me. It was lucky I had a ride home, otherwise I would have been a fixture at the mall for the next few hours until I could safely see to drive.I ordered my glasses, only to find when they arrived, the same arrogant eye doctor ordered the wrong prescription. Another wait for my glasses.When my glasses arrived for the second time, I went in to get them, and have them adjusted. I had to put up with the employee’s gatorade and twizzlers strewn around the table. I know he was more interested in his food than me. The employee started adjusting my glasses, and it became very clear that he was untrained. He started bending my glasses in ways I have never seen glasses bent before. The glasses were fitting worse and worse each time he made an adjustment. I finally had to tell him to stop because I was afraid he would break the glasses. I told him I wanted my money back, to which he replied he did not have that authority—only the store manager does. He stated the manager was not in the store, did not know when she would be in the store, or how to get in contact with her. He did say he would leave my name and telephone number on her desk for her to call me to discuss remedial action. That was two weeks ago—I have not received a call to discuss any action. So much for VisionWorks 100 day satisfaction guarantee!! I have never experienced any retail establishment with this degree of unprofessionalism.I do not know how this will be resolved, but I will never get another pair of glasses from VisionWorks—BEWARE!!

I got there early and ended up waiting about 25 minutes after my appointment time to go back to be seen. I was not angry though because all the employees were trying to take care of customers and giving them their attention, when they were able to get me back I was given the same courtesy with full attention and made to feel like they cared about me and after they made sure I had glasses I liked and felt good in. If you give yourself a little wiggle room time wise this location is great with friendly staff.

I haven’t really had an issue here the two times I have gone in the past 5 years for rx and frames. I go somehow when it’s not busy. But I can see how things would fall apart on a busy day bc there is usually one person up front. My one gripe with this place is that they need to clean the try ons. The amount of grubby handprints all over the frames and lenses is gross. It made me not want to try anything on. Also if you need another copy of your rx later on, after your appt it can be hard to get that.

Would give zero stars if that was an option. Horrible customer service. No one answers the phone and If they do they ask if they can call you back. No one ever calls back. If you go into the store there's always a long line/wait and only one or two people working. They have looked to be under staffed for years.

Terrible service. Scheduled an eye exam for a glasses and contacts prescription, only received a contact prescription. Then was told I would need to schedule another appointment to get a glasses prescription. I ordered contacts, they were 2 weeks late on the promise date. No one called me to tell me they came in, I had to call the store. The staff has no clue what they are doing.

They decide to call you an hour before your exam to tell you that your gonna have to reschedule due to "staffing issues". All while you've change your whole day around and made the drive into town. Just do yourself a favor and call a REAL business

Even if your loyal to visionworks like I've been my entire life, do not go to the Mankato visionworks. It is horribly understaffed no fault of their crew who seems to try their hardest. It makes their service unacceptable. Promise date 8/08/23. I have not been able to see during many vacations without my glasses. Waiting on them to call, they never did. When I finally talked to a person I find out I need to go back in and pick out new frames because the lab never got my order, but I never received a phone call saying I needed to do so and I had been calling their hotline everyday and they said I would get an update in 3 to 5 Days every time I called. Again completely unacceptable, still unresolved and they are fully paid
