Lies and clueless. We bought a dryer and was told it would be delivered AND installed. It was dropped off but the delivery person said he doesn’t do installations. When I called the store, I was told that the earliest it would be installed was 4 weeks from that day. I asked if I installed it myself, would it void the warranty? The manager said she wasn’t sure. Shout out to everyone that helped me today! I had some issues with a large purchase and debit card limits online, so I went into the store to pay with a check. The staff was very pleasant and helped me order, answered all my questions and were just very kind and helpful!!!

Never have I had such crappy customer service, 2 different employees told me I had to wait for someone from appliance, but they don’t start until 11:30! 3 1/2 hours after the store opened up, waited for manager for about 15 minutes and never showed up! 5 other couples were waiting in that department. Home Depot you lost out some major sales today and probably several customers. 6/14/2020

Waited all day for delivery. No calls. Lost day of work. When I called the store that night, they said delivery was attempted at 7:30 am. I was here, no calls...store manager said all he could do was go by what delivery said---. I guess I lied. I didn't. I will return item tomorrow. Two weeks ago had store deliver rider mower. They did and it didn't work.

This has been our worst experience ever with any hardware store !! Home Depot customer service is the worse by far !! We are waiting for a carpet install for the last 2 months and they have cancelled three times a day before or day of install . Customer service has absolutely no answers . It is a nightmare . We will never use this store again for our housing needs . Extremely poor service !!

Purchased Whirlpool Cabrio Washing machine. Delivery people were to install and test it make sure it worked. They put hot and cold hoses on and attached the drain tube. They didn't attach it to the water or insurt drain tube into the drain. They didn't plug it in! It doesn't work. Hired plumber to test it. Machine doesn't work... Right out of the box! They damaged our old machine so it can't be brought back for us to use while a new washer can be delivered. Many trips to the laundromat have started at Unexpected cost and time to us.

I have nothing but kudos. I was at the home depot here in Mankato on Saturday 1/6/2018 and my cell phone was absolutely dead. I went up to the service desk and told them I had a very strange request of their customer service. I asked if they had a charger I could use for my phone as I had pictures on it that I needed for my shopping. A very polite young man said he had one in his office. So I followed him back to office and found out later that the young man was the store manager, Luke Novosad. What great customer service. He did not have to do that , but I greatly appreciated it. I went about my shopping and the gentleman that was working in the flooring department was fantastic. He made sure I had all I needed for my project. KUDOS to the Home Depot, Mankato MN. One more reason I shop Home Depot.

I also tried the carpet thing. First, it was scheduled some time ago, nope, can't do it then because the carpet was late arriving. Scheduled it for today, nope can't do it today as the van won't start. I have now lived in my house for a month with the rooms empty and all my crap in my garage. I do not think I will ever use this service again. Treat your customers like garbage and we will take our business somewhere else.

Everything was great until the day of installation. I was told our appointment was 1 pm. I took the afternoon of from work everything from the three rooms to be carpeted was in the spare rooms. 1:30 came they had not showed up. So I called and was told that they had a window of 1-4 pm. 4:38 pm still no carpet called again. The store said we will call in check. The installer called and said they were 1 hr and 40 minutes out! Now I have to buy supper as we can't cook in a he kitchen can't even get to the stove. I also need to be back to work at 10 pm and the beds need to be back in the bedroom. I can't take another day off from work and they had better do a great job. I will NEVER Buy carpet their again and I will NEVER recommend that they install again. Totally wasted a whole afternoon of work and now I'll be late for my 10 pm shift. Worst part no- one cared.
