we've been going to The Home Depot in St Louis Park, Minnesota for well over a decade (maybe closer to two decades). I can compare this store quite favorably over the nearby Menards: The Home Depot (in general) has better customer service; higher quality merchandise; better parking and an area for curbside pick up; and a beautiful selection of plants and vegetables before every Memorial Day going into summer. My wife is a real do-it-yourself home project and restoration advocate. She is a savvy shopper and compares the selection and price at The Home Depot, Lowes, Menards as well as specialty businesses (e.g., tile and stone; lumber and quality wood products). Over half the time she selects her best bargains/quality at the St Louis Park, Minnesota The Home Depot. Now the cons: the aisles are narrow and often crowded with merchandise that needs to be put up on the shelves; it usually seems to take talking to more than one employee to find merchandise/buys that I'm not sure where they are located in the store (this problem often occurs at the nearby Menards as well); and their in-store selection is dwarfed by their online offerings--this means for a hands-on shopper it often takes going to more than one different store type to research and compare items that have only scant online descriptions.

I bought a shower pan and shower surround and they didn't have it at the store i had to have it shipped to my house. i got surrounded delivered and not pan. box was in ready bad shape if i was home i would have said no. waited a week still no pan. called they said it was damaged in shipping. they said they didn't know when i would get pan. i said box was bad and hoped that it was not damaged ether. they said cancel order and they would pick up surround. they said we had to be there we were there the first 3 times they said they came. nobody did because i have camera on my house. the 4th time they said we didn't have to be there, and they said they would make it right with me. they came drove forklift on my front lawn. in the end i got my money back had to wait 4 weeks for refund. still had to pay the $50.00 in shipping. i spent alot of money on everything else for bathroom their. make it right with me???????????

I worked with a gentleman by the name of Jager B. to get keys made for work. He was very kind, efficient, and made sure keys matched to their original counterpart. Excellent customer service

I have been going this Home Depot location since 2018. I have never had one negative experience. Since I hate shopping in general, I do my shopping through the website and then schedule for curbside pick up at the store. In the spring and summer, I love perusing through the home garden. i will continue to shop here for my home needs.

Fantastic service! Web features are awesome. Online orders usually faster than fast food lines!I have had several times that I place an order online for pick up, then start driving directly to the store. I usually get a text message that my order is ready before I even get across town to the store. Most orders are ready in about 30 minutes or less~! I'm sure not all the time - but that has been my experience at least a dozen times. For example: If I need a part for my lawn mower I look it up on their site while I'm home so that I can double check my mower information and then I know if it is in stock. Once I have it found on the website I just place an order for pickup. Then the employees, who know their way around the store way better than I do, find it and bring it up front. When I get to the store I get to just do the fun parts of shopping like checking out the garden center, or looking at window coverings etc. Those items I want to see for myself in person I enjoy browsing, but the employees save me so much walking around and searching for specific parts I need by just placing that part online. When I'm ready to check out I swing by customer service and pick up my order and I'm done way faster than if I had to search the store for parts. They have genuinely used their web services to improve the shopping experience and add value for me and save my time. Impressive.I love it. I absolutely wish more retail stores had this great of service.

Came in looking for paint, asked an employee for assistance and someone came over right away they were very knowledgeable and helped me quickly. I don’t remember their names but appreciated the speedy service.

We bought soil for our cannabis grow, and I am dismayed to find all of the soil was waterlogged, smelled of ammonia, and was inundated with fungus gnats. Shop elsewhere if your garden is important to you.

Stopped here to pick up a trim board for our garage door because we needed 2 boards and Menards only had one left. The one we needed was in stock and they had plenty to choose from. Similar in price to Menards also and less busy which was nice for a change.

Had an interview set for 9:00 am unfortunately the HR person was a no show. How many dicks did she suck to get to that position? The company seems to be concerned about showing up for work on time yet HR is a no show.

Did an online order curbside pickup and was disappointed in the service. Would have been faster for me to go in and find the item and checkout myself.
