Being without a functioning car in Duluth is a low-key nightmare. After a few weeks of carpooling with friends and biking up the hill a few times to visit various dealerships, I needed ease-of-purchase and low pressure guidance. Will was quick to listen, and got it right on the first shot. The first pre-owned vehicle he showed me was a solid fit for what I need, so we made it happen same day. I’m absolutely pumped to be done with the stress of car shopping, and when it happens again (hopefully a very long time from now), I’ll come back to Kolar.

I had a great experience working with Kolar Toyota. First of all, their website caught my attention from the beginning; it was up to date and I easily found a used car that I wanted. Scheduling my appointment was very easy and I had several follow up phone calls and texts to confirm my appointment. I arrived early and Kenny assisted me with the test drive and purchase. Great car, great staff.

I've been to this Toyota for some years. I'm satisfied with their service, but I don't like their new AI-based appointment system. Also, I wish they could text or email me an appointment reminder. They have my phone number and email address, so that should be an easy improvement to make.

Salesman Mike knew exactly what he was talking about, & even was quick on the jokes. Easy-going & fast experience, not like the entire afternoon at the dealership variety.
Clean building, they weren't vultures when you rolled in & they were kind. He didn't even mind that I had so many questions about the new model. Thanks guys!

I was on a trip from Minneapolis to Two Harbors, and my Nissan Altima Coupe's transmission started overheating and was on its last legs when I rolled onto their car lot on a Saturday afternoon 20 minutes before closing. Kolar's sales consultant, Will had me financed and out of there with a sweet, fully loaded and gently used Venza in about an hour. Love my new ride!?

Somewhat new to Duluth. I have tried to make service appointments with Kolar but they schedule too far out for my needs. I'm used to driving in same day for oil changes. I gave up and went to competition in Superior. Earlier this month my engine light went on as I was coming into Hermantown. I dreaded going into Kolar as I was certain they would not have time to check my car.
PLEASANTLY surprised - was invited to enter garage and hooked up for computer analysis. Turned out to be gas cap leakage - vapor. They took the time to explain process if this happened again. SO THANKFUL. I'll give service department another chance and try to schedule ahead.
