"The weights at this GYM are really Heavy!!" Only a hardcore bodybuilder would know the reference to that statement. Steel weights and a hardcore atmosphere. The DB's go to weights unseen in other gyms. I think I saw a pair of 2-hundo's there the other day and hope I will get to meet them someday. MetroFlex Gym is the best Gym in the North Metro and perhaps the Twin Cities. Old school machines mixed with new machines. All its missing is blood on the mirrors and puke stench coming from the trash can from squatting, deadlifting, and training yourself into delirium or what we call the GROWING REPS, the reps that count. This would be the gym where Arnold and all his old school bodybuilders would train at. The gym is beyond reasonably priced and you wont be bothered by people when you train here as they all seem to have their own agenda and dreams they are pursuing.

I'm disappointed I have to write this review. I really wanted to like this gym, but this gym (and Rollie) is just dishonest. If you try to call the number to contact the gym, it goes straight to Rollie's cell phone. He does all of the customer service work. When I wanted to start a membership, I called him and left a message. He replied and I came in and started up my membership. I was a member for maybe 8 months when I decided to cancel it and go back to LA Fitness. There were no stipulations in the contract as to how long I have to be a member. When I tried cancelling my membership, I couldn't get a hold of Rollie. I left him messages and texts and no response. If you go to this gym, you'll know that Rollie is only in around 10am-2pm, so I would have to take time off work to go into the gym, which I don't want to do. So, I left it on the voice message that I want to cancel my membership. Low and behold, a month later, I got another $50 charge. I tried calling Rollie again with no answer or reply. I texted him and a day later he replied "I'll take care of it". I asked him if the charge would be reversed and he never replied. I said fine, I'll just cough up a $50 loss. A month later (today), I got another charge. At this point, my only option is to cancel my entire debit card and get a new one. My bank is disputing the two charges from MetroFlex. Why is it so easy to start a membership but insanely difficult to cancel? Anyway, if you decide to go to this gym, good luck. Just go to LA Fitness. It's half the price, the equipment is a million times better, and they actually pay people to do real customer service work like cancel a membership.

Nicely equipped gym, clean, not too busy so you can get to the equipment you need to workout.Owner Rollie is there daily, and is responsive to questions and to show you how the equipment works.

The staff was great , very professional and courteous. The trainers were extremely helpful in answering my Workouts questions. I highly recommend this gym and anyone looking for a new training facility!!

Excellent place to workout. Never crowded. Reserved parking. Hardcore gym. Lots of space, membership is reasonable. Wonderful location and you can get in and get out. Certain hours of operation, but if you are the last one, just turn off lights and leave.

Friendly staff, great gym and environment. The equipment is straightforward and there’s lots of it. The layout just makes sense and the music is great. On top of all of this it’s fairly priced.

I am motivated to work out because it's fun. The staff at MetroFlex Gym MSP are also very friendly and great at motivating you. It's an upbeat place to get a good workout in!

Good place to be if you are a fitness driven person. Great setting and equipment with that old school feel. Rollie is also a nice guy that makes you feel at home.

Metroflex is an awesome gym. Friendly staff, great equipment and the atmosphere is the best. It's like your apart of a family and very affordable. Highly recommend becoming a member. You'll be very pleased to be apart or the Metroflex family.
