He is a very nice guy whose customers are his top priority. We bought two sweatshirts and two shirts. I would recommend any Minnesotan to come check this shop out. There's tons of MN gear here. Prices are reasonable. You won't regret it. There is a brewery right next door some come get some MN gear and hit the brewery. You won't be disappointed. “Love this place! As an AMAB person (who also presents as male) interested in drag, shopping for women's clothing & accessories can be a bit intimidating. However, the owner was so nice and accommodating. He welcomed me into the store and made me feel comfortable. I didn't feel judged whatsoever. I really liked the fact that they have an AMAZING selection of heels, especially since I needed a size 12 in heels, and they had many options. Many people had recommended I go to Bondesque, but they did not have the selection that Venus has, and Venus's prices are also better. I'm so glad I saw Venus next door and decided to go in. I'd choose this store any day over Bondesque. Oh and in regards to people complaining about the parking, well, it's a small business off of lake street in uptown, so what do you expect? There's free parking on side streets nearby, otherwise look for a metered spot and go during a time of day with less traffic. I highly recommend this store!”

“I can’t tell you how highly I recommend Mainstream Boutique! I always find things that are so cute, age appropriate and on trend. I spent time this afternoon with Diane. She was fabulous to work with- she spent time helping me- really helping me. She showed me so many great outfits and how they would go together. She was honest about what looked good and more importantly what didn’t. She was so caring and helpful! I have trouble with going to the mall and not receiving any help! This store is my go to place to shop. I will be back! ! Highly recommend!!”
