Today I went to my very first appointment at this establishment, to get my nails done, and had my saddest and worst ever salon experience. This is also the first review I have ever written for a place on Google.I had called a week and a half ago to make an appointment. I told her I had had been to a previous salon and got gel extensions and would like them filled and redone. She immediately asked me if I went to "one of those Asian salons" because they use different glue then her. I replied yes and she said okay, yeah she uses different stuff. I asked if she could still do the nail service and she said yes and made me an appointment.Fast forward a week and half later, I show up to my appointment and once I sat down she looked at my hands and asked what we were doing. I told her I decided to just have her remove the gel extensions and do a normal manicure. She then dropped my hands and told me she couldn't help me with that, the nails were too hard to remove. Confused I replied that I had told her at the time I made my appointment what was on my nails, and on the phone she said okay and made the appointment for me so i assumed all was well. She said well I just can't do it, it takes way too long. "You went to an Asian salon didn't you?" Which was super weird she brought that up again. As I sat there not knowing what to do, a man who was sitting in the salon moved to stand up and she told him not to leave she had time to cut his hair now. As I am still sitting there!!! I would have happily paid her to help me remove the nails, and if we didn't have time to put polish on after I would have completely understood. Instead I essentially got chased out told sorry and good luck. She was incredibly dismissive and short with me. Based on this experience, I would NOT recommend this salon to anyone at anytime.**Edited 11/4: I changed my usage of the term "rude" to "dismissive". I also think myself and the owner experienced the interaction very differently. I would like to add that at no time was I told getting the nails removed would take twice as long just told she couldn't do it, and I was not offered to reschedule for a different time. I also made no comment about having 3 other appts go poorly that day, but did comment as I left that I was having back luck with appointments that day. I take responsibility for wanting the nails removed which initially I did not know that I wanted to do that. After she offered the man in the lobby my appointment slot I felt sad and defeated, and did not feel comfortable pushing to reschedule or for her to help me remove the nails.

They have always done a very good job with both hair and eyebrows. I haven't booked with them for nails yet but I'm sure they won't disappoint me! I've been a customer here for many of years then moved so I stopped for quite some time before returning. I can say that I haven't had a single complaint yet and they are very patient and kind with children.
