Went in for a new pair of glasses in December. Received them but the prescription was “off”. Like I was getting double vision, trouble with focusing. Thought maybe I would give it time for my eyes to get used to a new prescription. I think I waited a week or two. Went back, they adjusted the frames and I left. Same problem so I went back again. I have forgotten the exact actions, but 6 months later, several visits and $800 out of my pocket (after insurance!), I am wearing my old glasses.
The ones I got from LensCrafters never worked right. I would have to naturally tip my head to read and to drive. Everything about these glasses have been wrong from day one. Even after reexamination and new lenses ordered. I tried wearing them for 6 months and they never felt right. I don’t think it was a prescription problem, I think it’s a fit problem.
I’ve been wearing glasses for 45 years and never had an issue with any glasses I’ve had. Been wearing progressives for 10 years, never had a problem. This has been a frustrating, disappointing and expensive experience with the resolution being to put my new glasses in a drawer.
Will never return to any LensCrafters. They have lost my confidence.

I had a very pleasant experience at LensCrafters in Edina Minnesota. The folks are very friendly and helpful, and I wound up buying two pairs of glasses because they had discounts which made it a smart way to go.

All the frames for reg glasses were shaped almost exactly the same, just diff colors. There were no other choices. I was surprised bc my families bought many RX glasses in the past there & they used to have many diff shapes & sizes. This time I had to go to another retailer.

I was out of state when my only pair of glasses broke. I was recommended to LensCrafters as the place to best help me. I simply took my newest prescription and was greeted by two of the staff. In a very short time, I ordered a pair of glasses, picked out new frames, paid for them and went to lunch. When I came back, they were ready.The prompt and friendly service was very impressive and allowed me resume my schedule. As an added bonus, my wife really likes the frames and says I look even younger!

So this experience was so not cool. They had asked what insurance I have and when I told them, a lady gave me a disgusted remark. Yeah I'm going somewhere else!!

Disappointing. I bought a pair of glasses which broke when I was adjusting the nose arm less than a month after purchase. Apparently you need to spend extra money on a protection plan for LensCrafters to stand by the products they sell. I recommend taking your business to someplace which will stand by their product.
