Tried to say car needed a brake job, take the car elsewhere for a brake job, they proceed to show the brake pads still had 10,000+ miles on it. And this placed used it as a reason not to take off the diagnosis charge when I had the car "fix" for what I brought in for. The brakes where a secondary item they "found" that "needed" to be done. This place is dishonest.

First thing, I've tried to use the "request appointment" form on the website multiple times and get no response.
Called in and made an appointment. After calling back to confirm I had an appointment, I was told the shop was open until 5 so as long as my car was in by then they'd take it in and look at it the next day.
Showed up at 430, door was locked, lights were off, no one answering the phone. Hours on the door still say 6, the actual car-x website and Google both say 7.
I definitely don't trust a shop to look at my car if I can't even trust them to be open when they say they're supposed to be.

Had scheduled a tire rotation and coolant flush. Show up for my appointment, manager says that I will have to come back tomorrow because his technician called out. Manager said he didn't know how to use the "machine" to rotate tires... I asked if he had was going to call his other customers to tell them that they also couldn't get their tires rotated today to be respectful of their time and he didn't know what to say. Pretty bummed with the service.

I just called and talked to an older gentlemen and I told him i have specific part that i would like replaced and that i have the part. He said “no we don’t do that over here, we have to get the part”. I said “ok fine” I then proceeded to ask for a price estimation and he said “i don’t know we have to look and see what’s wrong first”. Look for what to possibly try and scam me? I said I want a certain part replaced that should be it period end of discussion.

Terrible customer service, and I don't even have service here.
I delivered for this person who as stupid and as cheap as he is.
The fact that your employee is too cheap to tip for pizza is ok...But to be rude and cheap, oh the audacity ( big word I know).
Please pick a struggle, you can't be cheap and stupid.

Horrible experience and screw-over of a manager. Walked in with a coupon for $39.99 semi-synthetic oil change. Was told my certain car does not take that oil, which I verified in my owners manual and with a Subaru dealer that it does. Manager tried to tell me that he couldn’t bring up the coupon in his system, even though I had it in my hand. Do not go here. They will nickel and dime you to get more money.

I trust this place with my vehicle. They are always honest, and go above and beyond and ensure I’m aware of anything and everything going on with my vehicles! Kevin is honestly the nicest person! He took the time to help me with my car when I was done with work! I felt bad as I knew they were closing soon but he didn’t make me feel rushed and just went above and beyond for me! Thank you again Kevin you’re awesome! I 100% recommend going here for car repairs. It’s always affordable and great work!

Never, under any circumstances, should you go to this shop. I had been a loyal customer for the last 15 years for everything from brakes to batteries to tires and will never be going back.I went in for a new battery and oil change this week, they did their normal inspection, and called me to say that I needed new brakes, pads, and rotors. I let them know that their shop just recently did my brakes so I was surprised they had already worn out. They looked in their computer system, determined that yes my brakes would be covered since they recently did them, but that I would still need to pay for labor and a few other minor things like shop supplies. They gave me a price and I said fine, and then a few hours later a different person called and said "I don't know who you talked to before, but what they told you was wrong, you have to pay for everything as nothing is covered." I was so annoyed that I asked if they had started on the brakes yet, she said they had not, so I told her that I would come pick up my car and just pay for the battery and oil change. I got to the store at 4:30, half an hour before they closed (their temporary hours posted on the door had them closing at 5:00 instead of 7:00), the door was locked, lights off, and a hand written sign was in the window that said "due to unforeseen circumstances we needed to close at 4:00." Absolutely zero notice from them that they were closing early and as a result they locked my car in the shop overnight and I had to come get it the next day.To top it all off, when I did pick it up the next day and they looked up when they supposedly did my brakes (~12 months ago), how few miles I had driven since (about 10K), and the mechanic and store manager said that my brakes shouldn't be worn out yet. I asked if they really did my brakes 12 months ago or if they just said they did and charged me for the brake job. His response was he didn't know because he wasn't at that store then, but that would be unlikely. I let him know that yesterday when they called they told me there was only 1 mm of brake pad left, he paused and said, "uh-ohh."Never, and I repeat, never, under any circumstances, go to this shop.

I have just received new Advanta tires, placed by Car X in Eagan, off Town Center Drive. Keven {Manager} Was extremely accommodating, professional, informative & Did all & then some of what he said they will do! I'm extremely satisfied at the proficient work they preformed. I will recommend this Car X to all! Today's prices are competitive all over! The service is what makes them a leader! Go see Kevin! He'll take good care of your needs! IMPRESSIVE!! MY 2020 Tacoma Pickup is safer for the upcoming winter! Woo hoo!

I arrived ten minutes before closing on a Friday to ask to schedule an appointment to replace my car's battery. Patrick offered to have the battery delivered right away--even after the shop closed--so I wouldn't have to return another day. He installed it and at 5:30 I was driving away. I'd been there only 45 minutes. Many thanks to Patrick and the rest of the staff of a shop with a reputation for honesty!Service: Auto battery replacement

Got a SPEEDY appointment, oil changed along with tires rotated & air. Always helpful. Love the coupons, but not sue why on $19.99 coupn eneded up with about $15.00 in adding fees.
