“I've had two of their setters and they are both excellent bird dogs. They come with a ton of prey drive as well as being very bitable. You have to tell them what you are looking for and they will try to match you up with a those characteristics in a started dog. I am an older ruff grouse hunter and wanted a dog that stays with 50-60 yards in heavy cover. Took a few months but they matched me with a closer working dog. She will work out to maybe 100 yards in thinner cover say CRP land for pheasants or prairie birds. Yes they have some big running trial dogs as well so tell them exactly what your looking for. It may be a few months or so before they have one that might fit you well.”
